My friend’s wife is Spanish and she doesn’t cook Arabic for her husband but when they visit me I make it for them and he said that it tastes very good!! What do you mean by broil, do you mean the grill function?

Just did a quick Google search:- "A broiler is an element in your oven - usually located near the top - that provides high, direct heat much like a grill. Broiling places food close to your oven's heating element so that it can quickly cook, brown, char or caramelize." So I'm assuming the grill but my grill is in a different section to my oven unless you put the baking tray as high as possible to the oven? Wow so confusing lol.

Just read that you can only broil in an oven where it has the option to broil....argh. Sorry I'm trying to figure this out for both of us and not getting anywhere 😆 🤣.

Broiling in the UK "Almost all ovens in the UK have a dedicated broiler compartment, though they call it a grill. This is generally above the oven, either right on top it, or at eye level. The eye-level ones are completely separate from the oven, attached at eye level to a tall stove back." I'm going to get to the bottom of this if I can for all of us around the world who doesn't understand what broiling means. Sorry for all the comments lol.
