The only Ibanez UV777P with a Double Edge trem in the world

My friend Jack Gardiner asked me to show off some of my Guitars. This one is VERY unique because it has a Piezo Locking Bridge which is known as the "Ibanez Double Edge Trem". Here's a look and listen.

Jason, what an absolutely phenomenal axe!!! I just acquired my first Ibanez guitar (RG550 Genesis) after owning many other brands over the last 35 years. I don't know what took me so long, but needless to say, I am a huge fan of Ibanez now.

Right on! I did a bit on snooping around, and came up with this: ibanez.fandom.com/wiki/RG2027X The article states that factory wiring didn't allow for mixing the piezo and magnetic pick ups, so yeah, what you've got going on there is super versatile.

Indeed. My first ever Electric Guitar with a Piezo was a Parker NiteFly, but in January of 2002 I got an Ibanez RG2020X (6 string) and I had that one modified so I could do this same thing too. And funny enough, I also have the same bridge on the 6 string side of my Double Neck too. I'll make a video on that beast soon. Thanks for watching. Cheers from Tokyo, Jason.
