Good guide. Maybe some nature healers will finally learn to keep 2 stacks of Q for bit longer and use 3rd later to increase healing amount. I know its sound silly if you know that but its very often mistake of nature healers.

Nice info! I have a couple observations/interesting facts to add: I agree with everything you say about Q3. I rarely use it, but feel the call to experiment with it sometimes. - Q3 can be casted into bunched allies to apply aoe leaves (one stack ofc) instantly - Q3 will not trigger the self-healing debuff; fun fact for running away - Q3 when casted at max range will charge up enough to give you 2 leaves when you hit it; fun fact for running away W2 (Revitalize) is a crazy powerful heal at the expense of heavy mana cost and rooting you in place. Taking damage also shortens the channel time. - W2 can be covered with a shield to secure either most of the cast, or a full cast. Yet another reason for Guardian hat being GOAT - W2 will continue to channel far outside its range, as long as it was initiated when the target was in range. - (Ironroot) if you link yourself with your partner and cast W2 on yourself, you recover most of the mana cost while healing both of you. I am a biased Ironroot main, some observations and tips about Ironroot E: - You do not have to connect the link immediately!! The "first cast" costs NO mana. You have a grace period to finish the "combo". You can have the first cast sitting on yourself ahead of time and connect it at just the right second. This should improve the clunkyness for a lot of people. - (PVE) While your tank pulls, you can cast 2 leaves on yourself and E. Once he's happy, connect yourselves and do leaves as normal. He gets the immediate benefit of 3+ leaves, without drawing aggro to yourself! - Lifesteal also goes through link. Cultist robe too, as a fun gimmick. I had no idea that Passive1 applies to the full leaf ticks, so I learned something new! I wonder if Druid robe stacks work the same way? SO validated about Wild vs Blight. Blight can put you really badly out of position, I'm leveling it with fame credits I hate it so much

Love the comment, didn't know Q3 didn't give healing sickness. To answer your question, most healing cast bonuses stay even though the buff duration is over. Cleric robe, Druid robe, ADC, Stalker shoes, and all healing cast bonuses that are a buff on you, as the healer, work this way. The only ones that don't are AoE placed ones, think Judicator armor and Rootbound

Hey Ace! Great video! Been using nature staff for Ava roads 3vX for years now with my friends. Glad to know I was playing it mostly right. I ran “hit and run” passive for quite a long time as I felt it helped compensate the lack of range in nature spells. Would help me get in range and right back out. Recently changed to ADC. So much more heals. Idk what I was thinking lol also stalker shoes double blink is the absolute best change they’ve made. I love those shoes. Lastly, RIP Druidic staff

Great video as always and one of the best albion guides overall, expanding even further upn the previous two ones. I am really curious tho, as it wasn't talked about in the video. For Wild Staff vs Blight Staff, isn't Wild Staff E being stationary a really big con in kiting comps or just when you need mobility? For example I can imagine melees being handicapped when they need heals, so they are forced to stand in the circle outside of their attacking range if enemies are moving.
@MoJohny
@MoJohny Ай бұрын
It might sound like an easy answer to that question, but it really just comes down to healer skill. The placement of the Wild Es takes some getting used to, however it's certainly do-able in a way where you average 3.5-4 ticks on the targets you want with ease. Even with an average of 3.5-4 ticks I still do think it's a lot better than blight, but yeah it takes a lot more skill to get used to, and use it correctly. That's also why I mention in the video I like weapons that make you put in more effort for a better result. But yes, in general, a moveable AoE is preferred to a stationary one.

I kinda agree on the potions topic but one thing to also take into account as an argument for gig pots: More max health means more possible hits to take, more damage reduction you get because you get hit from multiple sources. Since gig pots give you more total sustain compared to res pots. I think this is something overlooked in the debate for large scale content (and only there).
@MoJohny
@MoJohny Ай бұрын
The same math works for damage taken, which is around 59%. Aslong as you survive ofcourse. Resistance potions gives you 46% less damage taken as a buff, so you are taking marginally less damage for 50% less healing taken, that's why I didn't mention the damage reduction in the video ^^
@sirkato7751
@sirkato7751 Ай бұрын
@@MoJohny ya totally. My reasoning was just that in the "whats better calculation" it misses that with gig pot you can tank more damage from different sources and get less damage over that buff you get.

I used to play nature for small scale and even specced it to 700, but I found it very hard against purge heavy comps. How do you deal against small scale comp running multiple aoe purges like heavy mace or lifecurse?
@teemofizzer254
@teemofizzer254 Ай бұрын
you have to get a holy aswell for that. If the enemys are a big group so they have multiple purges you need more than 1 heal. For 10 people u usually use 2 heals. Most common ones are Blight and fallen/hallowfall but hallowfall is not that good at a kite comp cause your e brings you out of position.

If you plan on doing it solo, going out in 4.1 gear into the blackzone and clearing overworld mobs is pretty solid. For groups you can do a multitude of content, ava roads, group dungeons, statics, tracking, and I'm probably missing one or two ;p

I think you missed something at blight vs wild. Blight heals more if you hit at least 1 ally target if im correct, so the math is incorrect? And one important note is that the wild staff is one of the 2 nature staffs where the E has actual cast time and can be interupted, even thos its relatively fast^^
@MoJohny
@MoJohny Ай бұрын
You are correct and someone else pointed out the math on the blight was wrong, it heals for like 14% or so more if healing more than just yourself. Completely my bad on missing that fact. However even with that boost my other points still stand, the fact the E heals a bit more isn't very relevant to why I think wild is straight up better. I do also mention that wild can be interrupted, and that is a huge con ofcourse, but certainly something to learn to play with c:

@kempi2807
@kempi2807 Ай бұрын
That's true. Ag3l - when you use other spells like helmet to sacrifice or spell E, are you looking at your teammates' bars? Or do you mainly look at the screen, fight and look at the bar above the players? and the last question, if you have the keys 1,2,3,4 set for players from your team, what is your setting for food and potions
@MoJohny
@MoJohny Ай бұрын
I mainly look at the fight, and see their healthbars above their player model. Using the party UI to check for low hp targets is in no way a bad thing though. For food I use z, and for potions I use x. Ofcourse you can change these to whichever key you find easiest to press. The food one is not so relevant as you only press it once every half hour maximum, but the potion has to be in a convenient location.

@MoJohny
@MoJohny Ай бұрын
You are actually completely correct. The fact blight heals more with allies nearby completely slipped my mind, and is a major error. It would obviously make blight E heal more than wild E. However the other points still stand regardless of blight E healing like 10% more c:

About wild vs blight, there is the factor that you will *almost never* get the full healing of wild E due to movement, I'd say 2-3 ticks is more realistic. Just to factor in so that 1700 healing difference comes down to about 1000 maximum difference. Also you didn't take into consideration the fact that blight E can help you out of some situations which new to intermediate players can find themselves into very easily. In a zerg though you are surely getting the maximum E heal which makes me wonder now why nobody runs it ........
@MoJohny
@MoJohny Ай бұрын
I do agree that wild placement can be difficult, but getting 4-5 ticks out of it mostly comes down to the healers ability to place it correctly. Even, back in the day, when I was using it in 3vX I would consistently get 4-5 ticks average out of it. Not saying its easy, but doable. Which factors into my ''blight makes lazy healers'' argument, having to play good to outperform another player/weapon who doesn't is a good thing imo. I also agree blight is probably the better weapon for newer healers, as it does get you out of a bad position. However I do think losing considerable heal value to get a get-out-of-jail free card because the players positioning is less than ideal, isn't a very positive thing in the long run. But in all honesty, the main reason I even talked about it in the first place is because I've heard of multiple guilds forcing their healers to play blight, and not even allowing wild in any kind of content. And I hoped this comparison of the weapons could open some peoples eyes on how wild has potential and should be used by more experience healers.
