I fixed the overview database error. I removed the 2 overview database entries from the relation inside the template button, you have to set it up manually after duplicating the template. Included it how inside the template.

Thanks! Haven't encountered that problem yet, sounds like something to do with your browser. Make sure you're logged into Notion on your browser and then connect Notion to Notion2Charts. Hi yes you can edit any of the number properties and change the number format from USD to whatever currency you're using :)

The views are setup with filters so if you want to change the information that's shown in that view you'd have to change the filter

Make sure you're using the template buttons when adding new income or expenses and that they're related to the those 2 database entries. (click the dropdown next to new, edit the template button, and make sure both are added as a relation)

Yes, or you can add a monthly subscription button and add all your subscriptions inside of that button as expenses, so each month you just click that button once and all of your subscriptions will be added to your finance tracker. Then you just update the renewal dates in the button to the next month.

Hello, I have your financial template, the only thing is that I am missing a section for savings. When I put this jn the financial template as bank accounts, it counts my savings as income while it is not income. It comes from my income into my personal account to my sayings acount and it counts it as double income when I retract it from personal account and add it to savingsaccount. Also it would be nice to add a goal for what you are saving for. Are these features you might be planning to add? The rest of the template is very handy. I am glad I can track my subscriptions.

They're included in the full version of the finance tracker. It's basically just a gallery view database with the properties shown in this video and then a relation between the 2 databases.

Don't think I quite understand the question. If you're refering to how long you spend inside of the actual software then that's definately not possible as you can't use data outside of Notion. Would recommend describing what you want to ChatGPT and see if it can help 🙌🏼

Nope. You can change the language in Notion in the settings but the template itself will still be english. If anything it would help you learn english faster 😅 Though you can always just change it, and if you have Notion AI you can just highlight the text and click translate to korean and you're good

There was a section explaining how to connect the 2 databases when you duplicate the template. But you basically just need to edit the 2 template buttons in your finance tracker and add the overview database entries as relations 🙌🏼

Hi just double check in your bank account the roll up properties. Make sure the finance tracker is selected, and it's counting the sum of the income/expense properties. This is likely the problem 🙌🏼

Unfortunately no. Though the closest to automating that process would be to create a Notion button for each subscription and then you just click a button each time that subscription is due to automatically add it but you can't 100% automate it. 🙌🏼

Thanks bro! Yea all you have to do is just edit the 2 template buttons in the finance tracker (click the dropdown next to new, click on the 3 dots and then edit) and then go down to the hidden properties where you'll find the relation with the summary database and then connect your database entries (do this for both the income & expenses template buttons). So now each time you use those 2 template buttons it will automatically relate that new database entry with your summary database. Hope this helps 🙌🏼

Sorry but this Notion is a bit dumb. Basically you become dependent on Notion. Exporting the CSV file does not work in Notion to keep the tracker.

If you're going to export database entries from Notion as a CSV file each time so you can still use Google sheets or Excel then using Notion doesn't make sense for you. The whole idea behind Notion is that you don't have to use Excel, word, notes or any of the other apps. Notion is for anyone but not for everyone 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hi yea you can add your credit card to the bank accounts database and just add in your starting amount. And in order to link them you need to edit the 2 template buttons in the finance tracker database and add the 2 overview database entries as relations so it will connect with them each time you use those 2 template buttons. Is there any way to only see the monthly expense in the Expense Sources tab? For example if I add an expense of $100 today, and another $100 the next month, in the Expense Sources specific tab it will show $200. I think the only way to only see the current's month expenses is by deleting the previous month one, right? And it is the same thing for the Income Sources. Yea you'd need to create either a new database each month or create new database entries, which is quite a hassle. Maybe there's a better way with formulas and stuff but if there is I don't know about it.
