One of the greatest intros in the history of rock and roll. But, yeah, his voice has left the building, too bad about it.

What an absolutely amazing song, and it's so awesome that they can still kill it after all these years.

A classic that will always stand the test of time. A zietgeist definer.
@sarahbreed44275 жыл бұрын
Too much emphasis on his personal habits when we should just be enjoying the greatest song ever written from the intro onwards is just heart-wrenching

"I look ill, but I don't care about it." I'd say that's pretty accurate. Great song, though.

As well as "I can face your threats and stand up straight and tall and shout about it". He's still here, still rocking it.

Best ever fucking song in the history... Para cualquier exdrogadicto serio, esta canción es un reencuentro con la ceniza, la inyectadora, la línea, y todo el mundillo terrible y de baja tensión que implica la Droga... Hermoso!

I think life has taken its' toll on the poor guy. It's even one of the lyrics in the song "long journeys wear me out but I know I can't live with out it". Absolutely brilliant.

The original is one of my favourite songs of all time. When it came on while doing my maths homework, I would get up & dance around the room. Sadly this version is lifeless and just a pale shadow of the studio version.

Loved the Only Ones and top of my playlist regularly. Was keen to hear this but must say Peter Perrett is now the weakest link- was once the enigma that made them great. To the extent that Kellie and Mair in particular look positively pissed off at having to baby sit him through this song.

In the begining of the 2000s i found the original version of this music, a complete fresh beautiful by them when they were young. Now it has been deleted. Its a shane original powerful versions are deleting while allowing performances by the authors as aged and old guys...why is that? Its NOTHING compared with the energy of them when they were young and witty...come on!
