@Jerimeme2 күн бұрын
@@imspector1506 lmfao dude number 1 he doesn’t get “good” at the end he was always an entertaining character. It’s just that his leadership skills finally formed in the end, after literally not being a leader for years, 2nd i’ve watched all of Shinkenger dude, I know and love takeru as well, don’t pull that crap lol, it’s called separating these two characters that have nothing to do with each other. Power rangers is not super sentai it’s an adaptation, and they take many things from sentai like timeforce being extremely similar to timeranger or doggie Kruger having the same name as his sentai counterpart. Power rangers samurai was made in less than a year. It is VERY similar to Shinkenger no shit. And Jayden is a lot like takeru. However he is his own character that exist in his own universe and show and that’s where I judge. And that’s why I like them both and recognize both of them as their own character. If you genuinely believe Jayden and takeru are 1 to 1 with each other and they don’t have their own differences that makes them interesting characters that are separate. You clearly didn’t watch either show. Again samurai was made in like 6 months, I’m surprised it turned out a solid as it did. So yea, Jayden is a cool character that becomes a good leader. That’s the point of what I said lol, so yeah I don’t know why you brought up sentai but there’s that. Oh also the whole Shiba not working for American rangers is really a braindead argument, Jayden takes the last name of the head of his clan. His clan originated in Japan. The first red samurai Ranger was a Japanese man with the last name Shiba. That name no matter what race has been passed down to the head of the red Rangers clan be it Japanese black or white. It’s a moot point the Shiba clan just so happen to have branched out to America at one point it’s said at the beginning of every episode this really isn’t that hard to understand

@michealmahmoud63912 күн бұрын
@ Above all else, Jayden is confusing. Sometimes he’s a hardass who just wants to do things solo. Other times he’s this friendly relaxed dude that you could have a beer with. He’ll flip-flop between these depending on what the episode Jayden’s unevenness can all be summed up in one moment from the very first episode in which Jayden declares, “We’ll do this together,” and then plows through a horde of Moogers all by himself. Trying to adapt the character to fit the source material, while also trying to make him the child-friendly do-gooder that Power Rangers needs him to be, really really really put a damper on things. His initial refused to allow Antonio, his best friend ,to join the team and even attempted to leave the other Rangers and fight on his own, or focus on Decker. I think that’s why I prefer characters like Casey or Jack or even Connor, even if they had to grow into leaders, it felt like a natural development
@Jerimeme2 күн бұрын
@ he didn’t want antionio to join because he already has to worry about his found family throwing themselves in front of attacks for him, he didn’t want his childhood friend to draft himself into a war with demons it made a lot of sense, same with why he left the team, the other Rangers had immense loyalty for him, if he stayed with Lauren, who do you think they’re gonna throw themselves in front of? Exactly why he left to tie up the loose end that was decker. Also him being a hardass and a goober at the same time made solid sense, in combat and when confronted with the duty in his life he was burdened and hardened. But the kid who was playing with Antonio outside always slipped through when he would tease the enemy or when he met Antonio again, also him charging In alone really doesn’t strain his character in that episode because the Rangers followed him like he said, and this was his first solo mission after fighting alone for years. He’s definitely a unique character but not as confusing as people would think, Casey and jack had S teir development but Conner basically just became less of a jerk so it’s really not at all the same level of Jayden
@michealmahmoud63912 күн бұрын
@ I feel like some of that is more explanation or justification after the fact than it is actually stated in the show. It doesn’t feel like he trust them to take care of themselves, or inspires them to make them think of their wellbeing. It’s like it flip flops with no consistency. If he cared about their well being, why would he announce he leaves when they were celebrating Lauren? Why didn’t he at least try to vocalize that to Antonio, he cared about his wellbeing in that manner? It felt like his best parts was taken from the sentai without really understanding the reasons behind the character’s actions. With Connor, yes he becomes less of a jerk but it was never his destiny to become a Red Ranger, he was never molded or trained in the way of a Ranger, it was consistent seeing his growth becoming more selfless and stepping up as a leader.

Leo destroyed scorpious and Trakena’s green form. Also the Morphin grid allowed Mike to pull that saber because Leo wanted it. The powers don’t activate until Leo has the saber. Mike was never supposed to pull the saber. Tommy would destroy Lauren. I think Lauren is a great character but Tommy is better in every way.
@ahmadkhalaf89522 күн бұрын
That’s not true. Mike was supposed to pull the Saber, but after it was given to Leo, the saber responded to Leo’s emotions and gave him the powers. A theme of Lost Galaxy is changing your destiny. That theme wouldn’t work if Leo was already chosen
@matthewrosenthal7532 күн бұрын
@ Everything you just said is completely untrue. While it certainly may have been for his counterpart in Sentai, it’s not for him. Please he was only on Mirinoi in a vane attempt at stopping Leo. Everything you see from Mike in those 2 episodes screams Asshat. He is a horrible leader, sees nothing in those around him especially his brother. And Leo is right there when he pulls the Saber and the others grab theirs and yet nothing they are just swords. They activate only when the Saber is in Leo’s hand because it was always his. If you watch the Team up with Lightspeed you see Leo pull it with ease. Mike needs not only Leo’s presence and desire for him not to be hurt, but a life threatening situation. Leo pulls it in a rainstorm with no one around because something attacked the planet. Mike fell into that whole as means to not only his destiny but to learn and catalyze the saving of the Magna Defender. It was that possession and seeing Leo fight and do things only Leo could, that allowed Mike to see what was in front of him all along. That Leo was smart, strong, capable, and compassionate, he inspired others to fight for him and more importantly with him. Those last two Mike could not.
@ahmadkhalaf89522 күн бұрын
@@matthewrosenthal753 You can say that but the intent was always that Mike was originally the chosen one. Again, Leo making the saber his when it wasn’t originally meant to be literally coincides with one of the main themes of the season. He’s able to pull the saber out effortlessly in Lightspeed Rescue and Wild Force because by then he had made it his. You may think Mike was full of himself, but he was really just written as a perfect guy who was putting others before himself which is why he was chosen. It makes perfect narrative sense that way. If Leo was always the chosen one then that would ruin the point of his character
@matthewrosenthal7532 күн бұрын
@ You are completely wrong and have obviously never watched Lost Galaxy. Because if you did you wouldn’t say any of the above. Everyone that has, reacts to Mike’s fall in the hole “With why are these people (aside from Leo) so upset, Maya and Damon didn’t know him, Kendrick, Kai didn’t have that kind of relationship with as he was with not their field commander and barked orders. It’s made plainly obvious through his actions that he sees his brother as worthless, and when Maya comes running through the portal seeking help he says no, we can’t. Leo does the selfless thing and says he’s going then with the help of Kendrix and Kai they stop him, and Mike goes only to stop Leo. There is in those two episodes nothing from Mike that makes him worthy of being a Ranger at all. Leo goes anyway and the rest go. That’s why even with all 5 sabers pulled nothing happens it’s even clear something was expected to happen and didn’t. It may well have been the writers intention for what you talked about to be the case but it is neither written, Preformed, nor presented that way
@ahmadkhalaf89522 күн бұрын
@ Don’t know what I said to ruffle your feathers so much lmao. Lost Galaxy is my favorite season of the show so don’t bother trying to tell me I haven’t seen it. Mike is presented as a good person I don’t know why you’re acting like he wasn’t. He risked getting stuck in another dimension to help a woman he just met. That’s really selfless. He didn’t tell Leo to stay behind because he saw him as worthless, he told him to stay behind because he didn’t want him to get hurt. The reason people like Kai and Kendrix were upset is because they know Mike, they literally work at the GSA together. The intent of the writers was presented in the show very visibly. I don’t understand what you saw

Checking the comments here before watching the video does show that you either don't really know what you're talking about or are being purposefully dishonest (I won't choose). No problem with liking a bad season, but pretending its problems don't exist is just nonsensical.
