The great/frustrating thing is, it could all be so simple if we choose it to be. There is enough land and resources for every single person on this planet + more. We just don’t have enough for everyone to have a mansion, 3 houses and two yachts. We don’t have enough for there to be billionaires and trillionaires, while most people live paycheck to paycheck. Get together with people, buy land, build sustainable housing, maintain a green house and community gardening, raise animals, collect rain water. Now your bills are minimal and your time and energy can be spent doing things that you actually want to be doing. We don’t have to destroy the planet to be happy.

I’m a millennial who went to private schools… was always the “showcase student” to show off to potential parents to get them to sign their children up… I skipped a grade and graduated early… was in all kinds of honor societies and organizations… earned multiple degrees… yet I have struggled financially most of my adult life. I went through not wanting to eat out or eat in general a few years ago. I ate salads and sandwiches until I could get my appetite back on track. We are not supposed to work for what god has provided to us for free but when you live under a corrupt system that wants you to work hard so that they can live a luxurious life is absurd. I’m on the opposite end of this. I’m finally in a place where I like my career. I work from home and my job push the importance of work life balance so vacations and time off and mental breaks are huge to combat burnout. I am financially comfortable and I am finally able to just enjoy life just me and my dogs and some good friends. I’ve traveled and taken a gap year off of work to travel the world. This may not be much since it seems like everyone is struggling. I need a meeting spot for those of us who are finally in a good place and life is good for us. I worked hard to get here. Hope it gets better for others.
