"Alien" was my best friend's perfume back in 2005, when it was just released (we were 14, but back then a lot of young girls used to wear it). She loved it so much and she still does and own it. I remember finding it really strong (in a good way) and captivating. I've actually never owned it, I'm more of an Aura girl, but I love it (I have the "Fusion" flanquer). Maybe one day I will get a bottle, just because it is so unique and "dark" (although I find it less powerful now unfortunately, certainly because it has been reformulated...). I've heard about Crystal noir from numerous KZbinrs, but YOUR description makes me want to try it! Although the notes of the EDT appeal to me more. Funny enough, I've never smelt "J'adore" on a woman here (I'm from France, but not from Paris lol). I guess it depends of the periods, when "Lady Million" got released, I smelt it on many women, when "La vie est belle" got released, same scenario lol. Anyway, you should try "Aura" by Mugler, I'm curious to know your opinion, as you know Mugler fragrances are veryyyy polarizing...and this was is quite unique :)

I remember smelling Crystal noir and Alien as a kid, around 13, and HATING THEM! The smelled aggressive(?) and never wanted to smell them again. Now, If I have to make top 10 list Alien is #1 and Crystal noir is around #6! LOVE, LOVE AND LOVE

You should try Chloe the original one with yellow ribbon, perfeeect to use in the summer! I use to hate it every time i tried it at the store, cuse I hate to much flowery scents. But one day I tried it on my arm, omg! i felt in loveee! It’s my fav summer scent right now 😄❤️

L’interdit is my ultimate favorite!! It’s so unique to me as well. You have to try Armani My Way. It’s a fresher version ish of it! Gives me a slight grape soda scent

You pronounced the Louis Vuitton fragrance perfectly! And, you look so so pretty! I am running out of my Reminiscence’s Heliotrope, so nice for spring, but just purchased more frags from Alexandria. My addiction/love for new perfumes knows no bounds! Oh, just purchased a blind buy cheapie body/hair mist from Marshall’s...Chai Epice (?). Not in Fragrantica, but discovered it is from Urban Outfitters. I tested it in the store and fell in love immediately! And, longevity is decent. But, lots of compliments!

I despised Alien when I first tried it, and I had bought the biggest bottle and the big body cream...I waited a year and a half and was getting a declutter pile ready. I pulled out the cream to see if it was still good and put a dab on my hands... and fell in love! Now I'm seriously questioning what happened to me and Mrs. Alien?! The cream lasts the whole day at least 10-12 hours, but I also pick up a fresh citrus note. Now I love it. What I've started to pay attention to is the seasons I try my perfumes, it seriously makes a huge difference between love and hate. I will say I tried Elle Saab le parfum again aaand still do not enjoy. Alien is staying though.😂

Baby powder is fragranced with Rose. Some perfumes with rose have a baby powder vibe. Like Montale Sweet Oriental Dream which I love. Sexy baby powder.

And I completley agree with your description of crystal noir - to me it smells like the steam in the bathroom after you've just taken a shower and used your boyfriends bodywash - but has that cold aspect you get once you step out of the hot water. I think she spoke about the EDP version because she mentionned coconut and according to Fragrantica, the EDT doesn't contain coconut...but I'm not 100% sure.

@@wassilam9280 Yeah, but people say even though the EDT doesn't have coconut, they'd swear it smells like it does. Also, I have the EDP and they way she describes it doesn't sound like my EDP. Also, I think her bottle looks more like the EDT, perhaps. The EDT is supposedly "fresher" and she does tend to like freshness in her perfumes......
