Great detailed teaching! FINALLY, somebody who keeps it real without all fluff and guru bs. THIS....is how I need to learn. Awesome!!! As a new trader the concept is tricky to catch onto at first, but your consistency from one example to the next, enables me to understand it better. Patience and discipline is definitely a must. Without patience and discipline, a trader becomes more like a gambler because money management soon slips through the cracks resulting in huge losses. Area concept is interesting. I think most people look for the quick big profits in short trades during times of high volatility. Sort of "role the dice." I have LOTS to learn!!!

Use a risk management strategy when trading with hard stop losses and clear targets of when to take your profits. Or just buy ETFs every month for long term, similar to saving but it’s rather boring

I'm new in the activly trading. But my experience so far (trading on EU-Xetra for swing trades) is: Use the pattern for your entry but set the SL below of the Low of the day. Might compromise the "optimal" position size but got stopped me out only if the market is really tanking. Which it is, sadly.

Hey Jared, how are you mate.. Thanks for the pep talk on money management especially the firm @R$3 kicking we all needed... ' Another' interesting one of your attributes I've noticed over time is your ability to include us psychically via involving us 'as' where listening to you. T.P.R is one of my favorite methods for T.E.S.O.L as it synchronizes both hemispheres of the brain. Effectively, using the artistic side to store info. (like photographic memory).. Subconsciously we all absorb information this way without even realising. 20 30 50 yrs later you could be asked a couple of Q's and 'BAMl' you answer almost instantly. While simultaneously asking yourself a Q "how the eff did I know that" . True story.. Anyway.. I will tell you all another fact next time. Thanks Again mate, thanks to all you guys Ladies who help make this all happen as a group. .... Out... >8-D

My question is... AFTER you've used multiple time frames to confirm an entry, do you stick mainly with that one timeframe for the exit? The last video, Jared talked about a failing 2' sell setup confirming the 15' buy setup. If you went into that 15' buy entry, should your eyes be glued to that 15' timeframe?
@ronredmond2 жыл бұрын
I've been trading and watching Jared for a couple of years now if that gives me any credence. If you have a 3 bar play your trading on a 15' then you might be able to get in on a 2' 3 bar play that is inside of the 15' 3 bar play you plan on trading..... or at least get in on a higher low of the 2' for your 15' 3 bar play... All of the patterns you trade, happen on ALL time frames... On a 15' you may have more than one pattern inside of a 60' pattern that happens to be the same pattern on the 15' and you may have many of that same pattern on a 2' inside of a 15' if that makes any sense... This was a huge epiphany for me. Applying the same logic for Risk management time wise instead of penny wise, I would take a quarter of the size position on a 1hr that I would have taken on a 15' and a quarter of the 1hr position if I took a trade on the 4hr A stop loss on a 2' is probably much tighter than a stop loss on a 15' think about the low of a candle on the 15' and how many 2' lows there are in that one 15' candle... Hope that helps... =)

As i understood it - yes your eyes should be focused on the 15´timeframe - his example was, that some may short scalp the 2m timeframe (as the 15m BSS will retrace around 2-3bars so upto 45 minutes) - but shouldnt get carried away by that 45minutes of downtrend as soon the 15m bss will trigger.
