You should definitely do "Hot Wind Blowing" at some point, it has a little less love due to the fact that it isnt on the soundtrack, it was part of the DLC and had some serious action going on with the instruments, definitely worth the listen at the very least

Well done btw, I feel like the track had a lot less flair than the red sun and stains of time covers, but i also feel like that's just because there is only so much you could do with this one, no alternate tracks to swap lyrics from and blend together, nothing too outlandish going on apart from the solo, but i feel like this track in particular in the game was built around the idea of the fading lyrics (every time in the game when sam's sword is held lyrics are present and when he's disarmed the lyrics kick back on. Its super cool IMO and helps associate action with the lyrics) not complaining though, im not expecting you to pull out a kazoo to spice things up 😂 looking forward to more

@@DietNihilist I feel like it doesn't get much love because its a bit different, unlike every song's heavy chorus hit it has a bit more boring/consistent tone. I love the entire OST to bits but even I dont enjoy HWB too much

@@kurtkan5566 i feel like most of the charm from hwb for me personally is the instrunmentals, the lyrics arent as important in my mind as the others, but i dont feel like that was ever my appeal to it. I still respect your opinion and i understand that lyrically it isnt as strong, it just had a certain appeal to it

@@DietNihilist Re listening to it and I feel like the reason why it can't shine is BECAUSE the lyrics are holding it back, since it doesn't have that light and sweet satisfying lyrical harmony it doesn't give a reaction as strong as the other songs but you're very much right about the instruments. Like in this its not that the lyrics are different or not fitting with the listeners taste but its just that, the lyrics arent all that good.

In response to all of the new MGRR requests, I really appreciate that you all like my covers and want me to do a bunch more songs, but fulfilling requests sucks the life right out of me. I hate to be a buzzkill, but the only MGRR songs left on my list are Rules of Nature and It Has To Be This Way. I'm not adding any others. Every time I see a new request for something I hardly know, (or hardly remember) I just start to panic all over again. Not trying to make you all responsible for my mental health, just saying that unfortunately, I can only bring myself to do a couple more. I'm very sorry, but uh.. In the end, it has to be this way. (I'm sorry, I'll see myself out.)
