“This attraction to hyper masculine men will naturally go away by you asserting and becoming the person you want to be with. So rather than you develop your assertive energy you rather become attracted to people who are hyper assertive. Because it makes up for YOUR lack of assertiveness. So you got to find someone who not only has some assertiveness but has enough to make up for your own!! Develop your own assertiveness! This is so true. Because I stayed celibate in my early years of life I became more confident in myself and i am a narcissist repellent!! Ladies don’t be scared of being assertive. It doesn’t mean you are less feminine. For the right healthy man it actually means you are healthy and happy because you know your worth and what you want!! But for a narcissist it’s a massive injury because they want someone to puppet around.

😂😂 exactly!! I can banter with a few guys at work and when they throw a joke, I sometimes act mad and they automatically go into feminine apologetic and then I just laugh and they start laughing and feel they can be comfortable around me!! My favorite example of this feminine/masculine balance is Joan Harris fictional character from the "Mad Men" TV show. She had this Marilyn Monroe curves and feminine aura but when it came down to business or when she felt disrespected she was a different person. She would turn serious or "masculine" and she was not to be played with.

Loved it! I used to be more masculine (and more toxic 🤣) and I just instinctively knew how to f*** with men. Now I've reeled it in, but there's a new masculine trait I've picked up, which is non-reactivity. Holding the power of not giving into people's BS and acting petty, is not toxic but still effectively masculine

There's truth to his points; in my experience, I am treated with a great deal of respect the moment I've embraced my masculine energy. When i showed my soft side from before, I was taken for granted. Totally resonates with me his points.
@Rella_sky7 ай бұрын
Ages 18-21 I was operating mainly out of my feminine energy and fell into a lot of manipulative connections because I was too soft/naive/submissive/and meek. I thought this was me being my "authentic self" thanks to all of the spiritual practice and self-work I was doing. It wasn't until I finally started doing for myself instead of for others and got out of that people pleasing role when I finally stepped into my more masculine side. Now I am struggling a bit with having an overactive masculine energy or "wounded masculine", I believe it's called. At this point, it became a means of survival for me so I find myself being more controlling instead of flexible, having perfectionism in most areas of my life, being hyper-independent and having a hard time allowing myself to receive help, also not allowing myself to just "be" like I used to. I am trying to find balance within, but I appreciate the message of this video, since I tend to feel shameful for not being a real "girly girl" and operating more in my masculine. I have some insecurity that men won't want to court me because of how much I am in my masc energy, or that I'll end up attracting a more feminine man which I don't actually want.
@ListenTuShelly967 ай бұрын
I Relate to this so much.. it’s so weird how this works because when I was younger and in my masculine I had tons of male friends, I was fearless, I was a tomboy, was super competitive n outgoing. Then I went to private Christian academies that forced us to be more “lady-like” and I started falling into abusive relationships with guys that had no respect for me. Even some of my guy friends turned on me n started treating me like a bimbo smh… I appreciate the softness I’ve found in myself but like he said, I’m defenseless and vulnerable if I discard my masculine side.

This was real i see too many of these chics that are dating gurus that give advice to be super girly. It just seems annoying . Ive always been a tomboy growing up, look feminine but i played sports, had pet reptiles and sports car. This was on point alex great advice because if you dont have the balance how will you relate to the opposite sex to form a relationship outside of just attraction? BUT...😂 YES BUT Lets be real, men are never satisfied. They will find some way to blame the woman for being too masculine, too feminine, or call her imbalanced if she has both
@crisscross3337 ай бұрын
I 100% agree, I admit that I've a rather masculine energy, I guess that's why I've always had more male friends than female friends but at the same time that tempts men to compete with me, I have even had male enemies for this reason.
