Michael Jordan was the Danny Carey of basketball (as Barry Sanders was the Jordan of football even with the lone playoff win). Every single night and even on the very few off nights, he was going to do some shit that technically should not be humanly possible and turn hailmarys into reliable shots and leave you stunned with your jaw on the floor. What we fans don't recognize is all the pressure these guys are under, and we and the press are the ones who put all the pressure on them. I'm always surprised when players say that no one wanted to take that last shot, because if they miss it they will catch all the blame. Brad Sellers on here talking about all of those guys exceping Jordan were running away from getting open so that they don't have to receive the ball if Jordan can't get loose. Sellers himself is worried about not being able to get the ball inbound to Jordan so that he won't receive all the scorn for not getting it in.
