Ironic that someone calling plant cheeses 'unnatural' probably drinks the milk of another species - that tends to be filled with literal hormones, pus cells (because the teats of many dairy cows get infected due to the atrocious conditions), casomorphines and antibiotics. nutritionfacts.org/2011/09/08/how-much-pus-is-there-in-milk/ If you really cared about what was natural, you'd still be drinking your mother's milk from her teat, or better yet, you'd have allowed yourself to be weaned. Johnny Bawbag I'm not adding anything. Go to Google and type "Milk definition" then click 'translations and more definitions and then read the definitions. Should take less than ten minutes and a minimal amount of effort. SJWs are notorious for clinging to a single definition of a word and trying yo argue samantics such as when or how that word can be used. That is essentially what you did.

four years ago I used to only be able to find the frozen Amy’s mac & Chreeze and I didn't mind it. It definitely has a weird flavor to it though! Now I go to my neighborhood grocery store and I can find three different brands. I love that the world of vegan mac & cheese is growing.

Daiya is actually really good if you add nutritional yeast, mustard, garlic powder and black pepper. Out of the box it’s a bit bland and tastes incomplete, but if you spruce it up it really sets it off.

I love Daiya. Over the weekend I made vegan jackfruit enchiladas with shredded Daiya cheddar and mozarella and non-vegans thought the enchiladas were made with meat and dairy cheese. I'm also a fan of Amy's rice mac n cheeze. :)

Definetly would not have used rice milk... that honestly sounds terrible. It has like 15 grams of sugar per serving at least, even the unsweetened. Unsweetened coconut or soymilk is the way to go. Maybe even hemp

My 13 year old has been melting Chao coconut herb, on her pasta (you choose your own shape) for several years :) Dash of unsweetened milk, maybe even some basil or whatever you like... amazing!

Annie's cheddar flavor is my favorite too. Earth Balance used to make a really delicious vegan mac & cheese. The key to making Annie's is to stir enough buttery spread to coat well, then stir in the cheese powder do it dissolves well. Then add more plant milk (unsweetened plain almond works great) than the package says, over medium high heat. Mix, making certain the cheesy powder dissolves completely into the plant milk. Stir occasionally until cheese sauce starts bubbling ( strong dimmer), and thick. This gives a much tastier Mac & cheese than following package I nstructions. Adding thawed frozen peas, or toasted veggies such as broccoli or cauliflower takes it to another level, makes it more filling, and healthier.

Amy's was the first and only vegan Mac and cheese I've tried years ago and I hated it so much (smell, flavor, texture) that it turned me off from wanting to try any other vegan mac and cheese. Glad to see you guys thought it was gross as well and gives me hope that not all vegan mac and cheese is repulsive :D

I just tried the most amazing mac and cheese at a vegan festival, and the caterer provided their recipe. Look up Creme Catering Nashville on Facebook for their recipe. Even my non-vegan friends said it was so good, they never wanted "real" cheese again!!!

The Chao is really good. I've only had it once but it was on clearance for 2.50 ! I also enjoy the creaminess of the Daiya but I really have a hard time with the smell. It smells like Elmers glue to me.

What you have never had roads end ? As a vegan for 28 I can tell you that it is the old school vegan mac and cheese. They have been around for years and still my favorite. It is also my vegan teens favorite. I have ti buy it by the case on amazon fir my 16 year old son.

Keep in mind Daiya is gluten free too. You can buy packets of the sauce (which come in a very similar looking box) and add to regular wheat pasta -- tastes much better!

Daiya is made with rice noodles too... ALSO the alfredo flavor with a little sriracha added makes it creamier and less sticky and cuts out that sweetness! Please retry this one with a little sriracha added

Autumn Cronin agreed. Have you tried their new "Cutting Board" shreds? I got a free bag of the Mozzarella and it was so good. It didn't have that weird smell,melted perfectly, and tasted really nice. It's their new and improved recipe. Definitely a winner.
