That's a really good idea thank you for sharing. It's great to look back on the type of mindset you had years ago. Being able to reflect and see if you have the same goals and interests even years later. Though it's common for people to take pictures during their travels, actually taking note of how you feel and think at the time is also important because that can't be captured in a photo. I like this idea. 😎

I didn’t do this with travel but I was cleaning up and found an old notebook I used in highschool to jot down notes / use as an agenda. Looking back I didn’t realize how busy and stressed I was and how many things I was juggling. Even if I look at photos from that time it wouldn’t have reminded me of those times and how I felt

I bawled my fucking eyes out this entire video. You have no idea. I’m 27. I’ve lived alone for 5 years alone. This past year I was in a very abusive relationship. I gained a ton of weight afterwards. I just got a new job and I’m very happy and seeing the positive in life. This really made me cry man. this was so beautiful it really made me cry. I love this video so much and I really needed to see it don’t think you know how much this effected me. Please continue making videos because you are an inspiration.

I don’t usually comment on a KZbin video, but when I do, it’s either because the video is sooo good or the content is inspiring. Yours is both. I’ve been journaling for a few years myself and I note down gratitudes and the places I visited. I never thought of the idea you’ve posted here with the smol notebook for each trip. That is very interesting! I don’t promise if I’d do the same because of some reasons, but I’ll consider it. LOL As for the dream, no worries, we’ve all been there. I used to be wanting to have kids. But now, in my early 30s, I guess I have to shelf the idea temporarily-or permanently? Not sure haha. But yeah, people change and that’s all my part of life. Please continue making the content and thank you so much for making it! You make me happy to start my day. 😉

Thank you for sharing your story and this great tip. I never thought about bringing a notebook for travel and just jotting things seen or heard. I’ll be going on my first solo trip to Korea/Japan this coming March and will definitely do this.

The illustrations on your notebook are very good and I'm not very good at drawing and sketching. I do like that you bring a notebook to write your own thoughts about your journey traveling solo that is one of my dreams is to travel abroad.

I just turned 22 recently... I would love to implement this practice once I get to travel more and for longer to other places around the world. I remember looking back on things I'd write as a child when I was older. I'm afraid to maybe become a mom one day for various reasons, but I'm just accepting the moments that come and trying to find my truths and what I really think as I go along :,) luckily I'm not very alone, but sometimes I feel like I'm a baby chick hopping along. I've been thinking about how I'd be like at 30 recently... I guess we'll see. And I'm excited to start listening to your podcast!!! I love your introspectivness and ability to soothe 🥹 thank you 🤗

This is such a good idea!!! I haven't traveled a lot but I did went overseas a couple of times and I took videos but ofc it can't capture the feeling of being there. Now, the next time I travel, I'll bring a note to describe my experience with all the thoughts and descriptions, I'm sure it'll give me a more vivid image. Thank you for this ♡
