The ONLY way you need to know to change a Renault Clio 2008-2012 headlight bulb.

After looking at the overcomplicated Haynes video and refusing to remove the whole front bumper and even some other quicker easier videos I found an even simpler way of changing the headlight bulbs. No need to remove anything at all, no tools needed, I removed the windscreen wash filler simply out of choice but again, you don’t have to.

WOW! So many views. I had no idea that this would do so well. I’m really glad I was able to help you guys out. I’m not a mechanic, I’m just a dude that would rather do something himself than pay over the odds to do it, and I learn mostly from KZbin. @mrcottrell This video is to show you how to access the bulbs without taking the front bumper off. It’s still a fiddly job but all you need to do, as I said in the video, is pull out the light bulb fitting, take the bulb out, replace the bulb and then reinstall the fitment. You’ll need to wiggle it to get the bulb straight but it’s a lot easier than everyone else is saying on line.

I’ve changed the bulbs both sides of my Clio myself without removing anything. It’s a bit fiddly but not too difficult.

Yeah, I have quite small hands and can't get to the dipped bulb at all. I can't see the bulb with the cover off like that, there's too much of an angle. I can't even shine a light into the cover. I'm going to try taking the battery and fuse boxes out tomorrow though.

Went to one garage they wanted me to leave the car in and take off the whole front section,went to another place and this polish mechanic put his hand in changed it and charged me a tenner including the cost of the bulb

We have projector model (halogen), and bulb sits way much more deeper than your car. It is very difficult to replace.

Why don't they make it like Volvo. I have a clio,06 plate, and a Volvo, 08 plate. The Volvo takes 1 minute per headlight to change all the bulbs. The clio asks to be set on fire😂😂 reliable engines, overall reliable car, but Jesus, the bloody lights are driving me insane
