I started playing her at the start of the season and the best thing about her IMO is that she can adapt to any type of team comps, she is never picked or banned in champ select and no one is aware of the damage output she has in early game

She really doesn't fall off it you play for drakes as well, because she gets so tanky naturally. If you go AP she will always do damage and if you go hybrid build she basically functions like a juggernaut

Yea, that isn't super unique to shyv though, laners just struggle to understand that some junglers have better ganks that others. I hate going against Lee Sin and Nunu because they gank often and if the ganks are successful then I start getting pinged because I'm not counter ganking as much as they want. But Shyv is one of those champions that can straight up 1v9 if she is allowed to reach level 6 and can get drake priority. I've taken to always going for bot skuddler on first clear and doing drake at 5m and trying to snowball off that, it works really well as a low elo cheese play since usually they aren't expecting it.

The ONLY reason I wanted a small rework for Shyvana is because her ult encourages her to dive in (because of the fat dmg she gets when spatting enemies), which she can be deleted unless you build tank. Not asking them to scrap her últ, just a little adjustment. I know kill resets to leap through walls would be too much. Second, her passive is super underwhelming, at full stakes, there really isn’t a difference. You still are so squishy. And if you don’t get any drags because some games are like that, you literally have no passive.

The problem with shyv is she is too predictable. You know she wants to engage when she has R, you know she can’t gank effectively pre 6, you know she’s always looking for dragons. All you have to do is bait her R and keep vision on drag and she is easy to beat

Just don't get baited LOL think about usage and because you have ghost and can stick to your targets/run them down you don't have to pull the trigger so soon. ALSO because you're AP you don't really need to 'hit it' like that... just activate and start E bombing.

@Diamond Frieza Ghost and ignite are better than flash. Ghost gives a lot of sticking power in mid / late game and ignite gives you a huge damage boost. Flash is only worth when building full AP to stop you from getting one shot or to dodge cc. The full AP build is outclassed by all the other builds right now so flash is much less common.

i have been playing shyvanna jungle this season and have found the most success running this combo 1. runes - lethal tempo, triumph, tenacity, last stand. conditioning, unflinching 2. build - sunfire cape, titanic hydra, demonic embrace, force of nature, nashors tooth and what ever boots i need (lots of aa champs build steelcaps. lots of cc, merc treads. or sorc shoes i run this setup as it suits my play style. with the attack speed it lowers the q's cooldown and with the q double hitting stacking lethal tempo faster and also procing titanic making for surprising burst. at max stacks of lethal u gain range making kitting and chasing easier.

Fun champ! IMO she doesn't need a full rework. Visual update + a new passive would be more than enough! Something playing into her fury gen. I particularly like the idea of her getting a small heal and some fury when hard-CCed to help out her non AP nuker builds not get kited so hard. Kind of inverse of Olaf: you *can* CC her but you must realize you're poking the dragon and helping her get into/stay in dragon form. Poke wisely.

I think they should change q and w in Dragon form. The q just look dumb cause of how its animated. And w makes sense in human form cause her power bursts out but in dragon form her setting herself on fire doesnt make that much since. She a dragon and can only fly over walls when she uses r. Make glidding over walls like a combination of kayn and ww. Like she can chase weak opponents but can only fly over walls towards them or just fly over them for certain mount of time like Kayn. Or like Talon. Cause lets be honest shes a dragon and cant jump/fly over walls and a little crap stain like talon can?

I've one tricked Shyvana ever since she came out and have played her as top, jungle, and mid. Mid was an accident but after I found out I could bully most mid-laners out of lane she's been a side pick in case Ahri wasn't available or if I just felt like bullying my lane opponent.

You can play Shyvana also as a skirmisher, with Krakenslayer, and I think bruiser Shyvana is much better with Sunfire, Demonic and Cosmic. And rushing Berserker's Greaves with ad and ap bruiser Shyvana is very powerfull.

Issue i have with shyvana is that she is a farm jungle with poor ganks so if a laner has good lane management u can’t gank pre 6. While there is a size able list of characters that are stronger early and at least equal in power later. But i play her because i love the game play.

Ignite on a farming jg is very VERY risky. You have no summoner to comback to in case you don't get an early lead. Flash or ghost is simply better especially since Shyvana lacks mobility outside of her W and R. Shyvana has a strong 1v1 early but there are other junglers that are simply stronger or you could even just get invaded and collapsed on, and now your ignite is near useless

It depends on match up I usually go ignite if I'm up against a healing team, but I'd go exhaust against a Vayne, yone, yasuo or if ur lower elo master yi. I never run flash but it depends on playstyle.

Shyvana OTP here. I take ignite in the majority of games. Unlike other champs who take flash as the default, Shyvana is better taking ignite as the default and taking other sums like ghost, flash, and exhaust based on the situation.

@@queendread4427 Flash is a safety net that lets you make bad decisions with less risk of being punished. If you don't make the bad play in the first place flash is simply outclassed by other sums on Shyvana. Invades are very easy to counter if you place vision (and you should be anyway). Simply avoiding the enemy jg if they are stronger than you removes the need to flash away. The lack of mobility is meaningless after a few items as you typically build items that solve this issue. Unless you are into champs that remove mobility or have multiple wall hops e.g. Ashe / Talon but these champs get one shot if you R on them from out of vision. Having flash doesn't help you very much against these champs you are better off going exhaust / ignite.
