Probably the AoE damage it provides: once you have ravenous hydra, you can oneshot casters with E, and simply kill melee minions with an auto attack after they were hit by it, or focus down cannon and kill the melees from the AoE+W

@@kikikillian1208 i might not remember this correctly, but im pretty sure you can one shot the casters with your first item anyway if u max E (which i do at least) still the extra time probably does allow time to roam, but im not much of one so ig thats why

@@evianwyner8280 yes and no you can see in the video he sometimes maxes E and sometimes maxes Q (i think in the yone matchup he upgrades Q) the reason being is that your damage skyrockets when your E is up because thats where the max hp dmg comes from and levelling E reduces the cooldown from 12 to 8 the Q only gets better after your first item, which you get at lvl 7-9

i main camille in mid masters. i find it really usefull to do trades on Shyv. that she cant deal with lvl 2 and 3. then i can dive everytime. its usually gg from just that. if not by not stepping up but charging q's shyvanna dies. she is chasable after all with camilles hookshot. the main thing about shyvanna is prolonged fights at even footing is instant death for anyone in shyvs path. so aside from camille idk what counters this abomination if he keeps creating theese leads in chall. he looks so insane doing this. i would love to face his shyv once.

An important note is that against weaker sidelaners that try to just catch his push and not actually engage, you can either max or put extra points into W second, because the bonus ms it grants will help u chase down oponents NO MATTER WHAT. Is near impossible to run from a Shyvana with 50% bonus ms on a 5-ish sec CD.

As a Shyvana top connoisseur myself, i say it's a pretty underrated pick, but it's not a very easy one though, since you need to be very safe in the early game in most matchups, but once you get lvl 6 it's a completely different dynamic.

Shyvana is always my go to first pick top, she don’t really have a hard counter because of how many different things u can build on her, u can do on hit, ap, ad, bruiser, full tank, all with different styles. My personal favorite is triforce Bork+ hulkbreaker+titanic+ gage, for 14 split or frostfire+ Bork+ titanic+ 2 tank item. Frostfire set is the easiest and most op, caz u can utilize everything in the kit, the size up + slow is amazing on her, it gives u more attack range and aoe on Q All bruiser build can do insane damage with REQA, max health dmg, ap damage ad damage, it’s really hard to build against it. Running Lethal temple makes it even better caz of the + range Laning is simple, u play like pussy before 6, farm and poke with E, once u hit 6, use your ult to poke and do short trades, u will have it back caz no top laner can tank her full combo, just REQA and W to run away til they are low. Your only weakness is you need a team that knows how to play 14 split, , you need to hit E to win, you need ghost to win any fights.

"One player has been ravaging the top lane ecosystem." No, no, that's not what it is. The man literally just finally turned his brain on and realized that AP Shyv was a dogshit gimmick, and that Bruiser Shyv is literally the most efficient way to play her. With the only major flaw being that Shyv's kit is hard gated by her own ultimate which is heavily fucking outdated and takes over 3 fucking minutes to recharge under the worst conditions, and on average 2 minutes under normal conditions. If Shyv's ult took less than 1 minute to recharge then she'd be a meta champ again without needing to be stupidly over tuned like every other champion to stay relevant.

Just meet this build on 1 of my matchs, turn out Shyvana has a very broken synergy with tiamat, which is seem to be the core of this build damage early on. If your laner stand on a wave, EW aoe into tiamat proc deal insane overlap damage, on top of E mark on Q seem to proc tiamat 2 times as well (could be a bug). I instantly get chunk 700hp at lv5 with one of these short trade setup, on top of shyv being very fast to run alway right after and avoid counter play. At 6 is basically dragon form E poke till i'm low and dive-able with tiamat overlap. Lucky for me i play a champ that can switch to somewhat ranged combat and can avoid standing in the minion wave, so it's still comeout as a draw lane, but imagine if i'm some slow melee bruiser, i won't stand a chance against the new Shyv build
