this restyle is looking pretty much an after thought. It doesn't blend with the already existing elements on the mk1. It reminds me those restyle attempts hyundai made in their cars back in the 00's. The mk1 looks more better to me.

I guess it’s subjective because this facelift looks miles better than the mk1 to me while clearly still being a Grandland and not a complete redesign. It brings it in line with the new vizor styling seen on the new Crossland and forthcoming Astra.

@@Sto79Be the vizor styling is one of the most off pieces in the dashboard to me. You have square, futuristic shapes from the vizor, air vents, and the old round, classic elements from physical buttons from the mk1... it just doesn't blend in my eyes. It feels they cut off the upper part of the dash of mk1 and plumped the redesign.

We see what you mean and you are correct. This is adding a new design language look to an old model via a facelift. The next generation should look better.

Yes, due to the hybrid battery. The non-PHEV Grandland has a boot volume of 514 litres. ^DH

In NZ cars are so over priced and this is quiet well priced in our market one of the cheapest options and could sell well here its priced with mitsubishi eclipse cross.
