What bumper is that you’re installing the winch in? Most you have to take the bumper off. I like that you don’t and I’m looking for one for my JK.

I’m not sure what kind of bumper Jason has, but I know it’s a pretty cheap one. I will say that the fab fours stubby bumper is what we are running on both of our jeeps and we didn’t have to remove the bumper to get the winch on.

Bought exact same winch, and similar bumper before I watched this. Unfortunately I put winch on bumper before I watched this, now I have to take it off and hook up wires and rope guide.

Nice video, looks real easy to install. What do you think running a kill switch so it is not drawing power all the time? Running the winch for the last 6 months, how has the performance been? I probably buy one one these next week. I hope I can get everything installed before my Uwharrie trip in May.

We have 3 folks running these locally now with no issues. I've never had an issue with any power draw from and of our winches but we drive ours daily.

My mounts for the box seem to be off. Been trying to figure out a good way to fix. Thinking hammer and rtv. That is my one problem with it so far. But I have not even got it on the jeep yet.

Buy a winch somewhere else I ordered this winch the week of Thanksgiving for Black Friday. They went showed up by Sunday which I installed Sunday. I’ve been installing winches for 20 years plus. Pretty straightforward positive to the battery negative to ground ruction show where the wires go. Winch will not work with wired remote or wireless remotes will not power in or power out. I emailed the company sent a video and try to call them. None of the numbers work and after 3 to 4 days I got two responses one asking my order number the second response saying , they test all their winches and want to know how it was wired up. Which was already explained in the five / messages I sent. Go somewhere else and buy. This video was great this winch is junk

I like the fact they showed they had parts. Your video was a selling point for me to buy one. You’re welcome to try and call A number. None of them work. Just know if you get a bad one you’re on your own.

Update found the issue the positive stud inside control unit was broken. Roll pin and solder fixed it. Company finally contacted me in messenger regarding the issue. They are sending me a solenoid. They said they are going to have phone up in December sometime. Will give it some time and see how things go

I just picked that winch up for $299 shipped! Did have a small issue. One of the mounting holes in the winch itself was not drilled. I prob could have taken pics and got another winch but I just grabbed a drill bit and problem solved. Seems like a decent winch especially for the price.
