Ten members were tried and convicted for racketeering, and two for their role in the 1984 murder of radio talk show host Alan Berg. The Order also ran a counterfeiting operation, but their bills were of poor quality, which is what led to one the members being captured and jail time early on, which later precipitated the group's downfall in 1984.
