The beauty of the Ordinary is: quality, effective products at an affordable price. Hope they never change their philosophy. Too many high end skin care lines are not worth their price point. Distressing when that happens bc so many are really, really $$$ for no good reason. I just ordered the updated Buffet. TY for helping to keep us informed. The skin is the largest organ of the body. So important to protect it and treat it well.

If the Buffet Copper Peptide is discontinued, that would be bad news for me. I use the SubQ Skin in the morning and the Copper Peptide Buffet in the evening. I hope they keep both products. For me, the SubQ Skin is more like the best Hyaluronic Acid serum in the world than a copper peptide serum, LOL. I will never buy the overpriced NIOD version of copper peptide. But a 60ml version of the TO copper multi-peptides would be great ! (and this copper version has no castor oil)

I love combined actives, as long as the percentages are not watered down too much and formulation remains pleasant and effective. That being said, I haven't experienced any problems with layering different products. I do try to be careful though in my layering and allow a good amount of time between one product and the next. I love my skincare, if that weren't obvious 😜.

They always do. they destroy anyone who was a past competitor. Formulations are changed immediately but they won’t announce them until complaints start rolling in. La Mer Bobbi Brown etc. etc.

Hi Rob! Thanks for the update. After watching your video on how to apply TO Argireline, I apply it first and then Buffet (instead of mixing Argireline and Matrixyl in my hand). Thank you for sharing this info Rob! A pet peeve I have with the Deciem is that they've marketed so many of their products in a way that is hard to understand. I don't wnat to have to do hours of research to find out what one product does & if it's right for me LOL I was never sure what exactly The Buffet did and the name just gave me the impression of a bunch of actives & ingredients jammed into one. The new name is more user friendly. Thanks to you I discovered & fell in love with Hylamide SUBQ skin so I hope they are bringing it back as a replacement for The Buffet with Copper Peptides.

I have not used the Buffet for quite a while. I use the Buffet with Copper Peptides. The Castor Oil is a concern for myself also. I have been thinking about the regular Buffet ro alternate with the Copper Peptides when I need. I do not think there is anything they can release that would replace their Matrixyl and Argiriline, but I am always interested in any peptides I can sneak into my skincare routine. I really like the new version of the 'buffet'. It helped me cut down on the amount of products I am using. I am not really into single ingredients skincare. I used to mix argireline and matrixyl but actually prefer the 'new' buffet serum :)

I spoke with a rep from their upper mgmt team and she said that they will be incorporating the mist into the line, Not sure if it will have all of the same properties as the SubQ one but since they are the same company I am sure they will take the best of the products and add them into the line soon.

At least according to Shereen Idriss and Regimen Lab, HA isn't all that great, a bit surprised it's being promoted in the name as an ingredient. I thought it's popularity was starting to not be as big of a deal as it once was. ...p.s. Influencer Christa Evelyn (wish there was another term) mentioned a Mad About Skin product and loves it!. I think it was a serum. Nervously awaiting the Deciem sale....I can't go crazy this year, there are too many k beauty products I want to try!

This isn't HA on its own though. A lot of great products contain HA within their formulation which is perfectly fine. Those persons are more referring to that skin care ingredient being used as a stand alone serum, which can be drying and is an over-hyped ingredient.

HA isn't awful, It's **just** another humectant, similar to glycerin, Sodium PCA, and others. Used at the right amount in a formulation, it's fine for most. The problem is, HA has become very trendy. It's also inexpensive, so companies put it in everything, and market the you-know-what out of it. So, while a little HA in your serum is good, a lot in every product you use is too much. [There's no strict number, it's different for different skins.]

I won't be purchasing this because they added HA (really?!, I can't escape the stuff and really don't need even more of it in my routine!). I use the argireline on its own now. I used to combine it with matrixyl but that caused break outs, probably because of the castor oil it contains. Which is something I learned from one of your videos Rob. So thank you for that, since I couldn't figure out why I was breaking out for the first time in years. The information you provide on your channel is absolutely priceless, it is much appreciated!

WOW!!!! So people who live in northern countries won't be able to use it in the winter. That includes me. Hyloronic Acid in dry winter environment is not conducive to hydrated skin. I used Buffet and liked it. I use Agreline and Matryxil as well. Lots of peptides serums, so will try Good Molecules and Ordinary Amino Acids.

TheOrdinary is more and more a disappointment. SubQ Skin was the best serum but they discontinued it for no reasons, plus the price increase, i buy less and less from them, i discovered GreenKeratine and its my go to now for high quality serums at very low prices, everything its a 100ml and they do refills of 250ml even less expensive than their 100ml...

Thank you for this! In the UK I usually get my Ordinary products from Boots Pharmacy, they now charge 28.00 pounds for this from the 14.00 pounds for the Buffet...so disappointed. However it is still cheaper than many other products doing the same things. And as you pointed out it does the work of other products as well.

i read a recent study that was lookout at a different peptide (for hair regrowth) and the concentration was something like 0.1% - from my research the effectiveness of peptides is not driven by concentration but rather if your body works with them. some people will just not have results even at high concentrations. almost all the studies show this

Oh wow they must have a lot of old stock as its been changed to the multi peptide serum everywhere else for months.. my advice is don't buy the one called buffet get the multi peptide one instead as its the same but will be fresher xx
