I really appreciate you doing this particular video because of you zooming in so close we have pretty much the same skin I'm dry in the same places as you so I need to know what exactly you use moisturizer, foundation, primer and concealer because I've noticed when you use your normal products it looks flawless and I love the way it looks and covers everything! I have this foundation also, I like it but it is definitely more yellow than neutral, but I'm luckily yellow toned so its an OK match. Its a nice foundation to use if you want a light make up day. But the skincare is very good, I love it!!

Bridget, My daughters have used that primer for 2 years now and they are fine. I have used it myself so well and no issues. And they have VERY sensitive skin. With that being said, we have never used the foundation. They use it with their Born This Way and Tarte Foundations. Sorry it didn't work out for you:(

I rub the Ordinary Azlaeic acid creme (tiny amounts!) into the pores of my nose & put foundation on top. Acts as a pretty good oil tamer. With twice a day use, pores definitely smaller. I bought a bunch of products but that is one I will repurchase. And i liked the Alpha Lipoic acid 5%. The Granactive Retinoid smells so bad i can't use it at all. Gotta stick with Paula's choice on that. 💸😥

I'm so early 😄 both the primer and the foundation are two of my absolute favourites! I agree that it's not full coverage but personally I like that. I wear that same shade and it's nowhere near as yellow as that on me! I'm sad it didn't work as well for you as it does for me 💔

I got the very fair pink tone one and mixed it with that "neutral" ( yellow one) and got a good outcome. Also the ordinary "high spreadability primer" is GREAT - its not oil based, it is water based. I have normal/ dry skin and have no issues with it. I am not a fan of that one you used - made my face a bit pink and unwell.. ( have sensitive skin). :):)

You should try the serum foundation! I tried the coverage one and hated it on my dry skin but the serum foundation is bomb :)

I have combo skin (oily+dry) and I really like this primer. I haven't tried this foundation but I wear matte and dewy types of foundations and it works well.

I liked the primer fine, it seems to work okay with my foundation but I don't think I would repurchase. I bought it about a month ago but I have not purchased any of the actual makeup. I have heard that their serums and stuff are good though.

I have the same issue with any silicone based primer for some reason. No matter how hard I try it just makes the foundation slide all over.

Have you tried warming the primer on your fingers first. I bet just a couple drops would be enough. Not that I've tried these, I'm just interested in trying The Ordinary skincare. I just ordered some from Beautylish but wasn't brave enough to buy foundation. Feel better & get some rest❣ We'll be here if you miss a few days to take care of youself.✌💜

My primer is also silicone based (not the same brand but a very low cost drugstore one) and if I want my foundation to not move around, I have to let it dry and rest first. What I usually do is that I put my primer on and wait about 10 minutes before I do the rest of my makeup. I wonder if it might help you out with this primer?

I really like the primer. Of course, I only prime around my nose and chin. I don't use it with this foundation. I find it works best for my skin on foundations that are dewy or moisturizing. Helps them stick better.

The primer is oil base is foundation oil base or water base remember oil and water dont mix water base primer to water base foundation oil base foundation with oil base primer

I had a similar experience with that primer. I also thought maybe I just needed to use less so I kept trying it until it ran out but I doubt I would buy it again.

Me too. And the elf poreless primer is virtually the same. I gave up & I'm using the elf mist & set as a primer. Spray & pat it in. Works great. I have no idea what else I could use the primers for. So much silicone! I wonder if it would tame my frizzy hair. LOL. I'm crazy enough to try it. 😜

I love the primer, best one I've tried, it really makes a difference to my foundation. But it breaks me out a lot 😩 if I didn't have acne prone skin I'd use it more often

Thanks for your review. I wonder what ingredient caused the reaction there. This primer works well for my combination skin (oily+dry) and luckily I dont react to it. I don't know if I'll try that foundation though as I do have a couple of dry patches.

I love anything by The Ordinary! The primer works for me. I just feel like people use too much of it because it’s like a lotion. The ordinary is apart of my daily skincare routine. Amazing products!

The Ordinary primer is the only primer out the prob close to 100 I’ve tried, that made me break out and break out bad!!!! It also broke down foundation and nothing sat right on it. I don’t care that it’s 6 bucks, your better with nothing then this lol!

I like this foundation a lot but I find that at the end of the day it wears off a lot faster than my L’Oréal true match, though then again I do work as a waitress and am on my feet (and sweaty lol) for 8-10 hours a day so my makeup always struggles 😂😭

You used waaaaaaay too much of the primer! I have it and I use the tiniest bit only on my T zone and it works for me. But i only use it when I go out and really want my makeup to last, because it feels like it would clog my pores if i used it everyday.
