I never played or heard of Arkistia's Ring. This game's storyline, level design, and enemies is very similar to the Legend of Zelda, Dragon Warrior, and Final Fantasy. Looks like a solid and fair game. Thanks for sharing.

@@ashwinrebbapragada7626 it’s decent. Gameplay is very smooth and responsive. I wish it didn’t loop and had a better buildup to the final boss. If it had a little more depth to it, it might’ve been a household name

@retronate i love these games I've never gotten to experience before. Growing up in my small town in the South, if it wasn't the big name Nintendo games (Link, Mario, Mega Man, Metroid), you were never going to know about it unless you read the magazines. So, to be able to experience it (albeit second hand), years later is a real treat.

The volcanoes on the early screens would have driven me nuts as a kid. There's a clear footpath to them from the top and the bottom and the number of times I've entered a volcano in my gaming career all make me think there should be some way inside for some kind of prize.

American Sammy has a really interesting and confusing history with several companies. Nowadays Sammy make a fortune with Pachinko, but they also bought a quarter of Sega shares.
