One shot zero: Based on the video, it looks like the reticle is no longer in the center, after the zero is set, using the one shot zero. Is the reticle now off center?

My question is about the Obsidian APP, my X-sight has just come back from the ATN shop and still has the same issue of not communicating with the phone's APP. The tech reps and myself agree that the hardware is working as it should but what is up with the APP???? The phone WIFI recognizes the scope but the app is unable to connect as the message reads Scope ready to connect when the internet signal improves. Really the phone is less than a foot away. Very close to taking this thing and dumping it in the garbage can.

I ZEROED IN MY X-SIGHT 3X14 TODAY, AND THAT IS THE COOLEST THING!. ONE SHOT, THEN ALL OTHERS RIGHT ON THE MONEY. I LIKE THIS NIGHT VISION SCOPE MUCH BETTER THAN THE SPI THERMAL I USED TO OWN. I JUST HOPE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AS GOOD, 'CAUSE SPI WAS TERRIBLE. I LOVE THIS ATN WILL DEFINANTLY RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS!......

I understand this video is a couple years old but I’m having an issue that is driving me nuts. I have this exact scope on a DPMS .308 and after every shot the scope freezes up, no function of the keys and scope is not “live”. Is a .308 to much recoil for this scope? It’s done this from day one and I’ve called and all they keep telling me is to do an update on the firmware and I’ve done it and it’s completely up to date.

I'm having an issue installing the firmware. I have confirmed that my firmware is not as new as the most current version on the website, downloaded the new firmware onto a SanDisk Ultra Plus 32 GB micro SD Card and confirmed the firmware is on there. I insert the SD Card into the Scope and confirm it locks into place using the adapter. when I power on my scope with the card inserted, there is no menu prompt at all. Can you assist me with this issue?

Thomas, you need to format the sd card within the scope then add the firmware file to it again.

Hi I have 5-18 x sight can anyone tell me. I have zeroed my 17hmr at 60 yds but when I zoom in to check my bullet hole the retical moves up and down on tutorial video the retical doesn't move is there something wrong I have sent emails to ATN but I don't get any replies.

It would be helpful to talk about how to get video off of scope after recording. Also, if one updates the software does it change the zero adjustment or does it remain sighted in. Also explain use of attaching cables. Also explain format option. Does one use the format function on new SD card before downloading software? If one uses the format option will everything on the SD card be erased. Can one use any memory size micro SD card or are there restrictions on the memory size of the SD card?

+Michael Pruitt you can simply take the memory card out and place into your laptop. updating software - it probably does. cables? external battery! formatting memory card - no need to, just ensure you delete old software from memory card before adding new software to card and once programed then delete new software from memory card. Yes, if you format the memory card that will delete everything (any recorded or captured photos "save them to your pc or laptop") there shouldn't be a problem on the GB of memory card. I don't own a ATN but your questions were straight forward. ATB & HH. John.

+Michael Pruitt there is a limit on what micro SD card you can use. it should be a minimum of 4gb and a maximum of 32gb. Also it should be a class 10 or higher. I would also stay with name brand instead of the Chinese knockoffs.

I sight it in but when i focused on a longer distance i need to resight why ??

Because that's how ballistics work. You sight your scope for a specific range to counter bullet drop. at longer ranges the bullet will drop more. Bullets do not travel in a straight line. Basically, zeroing your scope moves the reticle to account for the drop, thus raising the barrel of the gun.

Sorry, this is rediculous. I wanted to buy a night scope to shoot the fox that has been getting my chickens. Luckily a friend had one I could try. The quick start guide shows me how to shoot video, add an SD card but nothing about zeroing. Almost half way through the video and nothing yet. I have changed menus and pressed enter too many times and do not want to set date/time. This is like programming a 1980's VCR. PLEASE make a functional scope. With a rifle scope as it's primary function.

Trash optic. Paper weight at best. Will not focus anymore than 50yds. Will not hold zero even at 25yds
