I won't lie... I'm heartbroken to see it getting sold. I feel like I have a personal 'relationship' with that glove and I feel like I'm bidding it farewell forever. The kind of people with the kind of affluence that snag up these props don't hang out in our forums or attend our conventions. I pray that the glove won't disappear to never see the light of day again. But I'm honored to have a small piece of myself getting sold with the Hero. At least I had my personal time with the original glove. As far as I know, no one else was ever granted as much access as I was to this amazing glove. I will cherish these memories forever.

What are you taking about? It's not yours and who ever owns has the right to sell it. Get a life.

@@johnsambo9379 Dude chill, he had contact with the previous owner and got to hold and measure the real deal! He replaced the leather glove portion of the prop with his replica which he personally cur and weathered. Didn't like how he kept details of the glove secret since it's not the nature of the hobby but besides that he has every right to feel the way that he does.

I admire Mark's work as a glove builder, and would love to eventually get my hand in one of his gloves one day (although that wait list is pretty substantial if I'm not mistaken). Whoever wins this at auction though, they are gonna be the envy of the glove collecting community. Best of luck to those who bid on it!

When was 11, I went to Planet Hollywood in London & saw they had a glove which they claimed was from the ‘84 movie...I knew it wasn’t 🤨 It looked like the glove from part 6. Every glove aficionado knows they’re very different-looking. I then started to look at all the props in the restaurant with suspicion 😊

Robert Englund should have this glove. It was originally stolen from the set, so nobody else should be allowed to own it besides the production company or Robert.

@@pilummurialis6490 Very cool. I first saw The Crow during what was both my formative years and a very dark personal time in my life. The movie, the circumstances surrounding it and O'Barr's original meaning behind it all spoke to me in a very profound way, as it still does today. Seeing that coat in person would very literally be like standing before the Holy Grail for me.

This is very cool to see, and thank you for sharing! I was curious about a term I hear you saying and I saw it on the auction site description as well - what does the term “hero” mean when you’re speaking in reference to props?
@FlamingCreations Жыл бұрын
It basically means that it is the main prop of that kind used in the film (typically by the main actor). For example in Part 1 there was 1 main "Hero" glove and then 2 stunt gloves. For Part 6 there was the main "Hero" glove, the secondary Hero (The glove that was used the second most often) and so on and so forth. It's basically meant to specify the main prop.
