I LOVE this kind of content. It’s like going over to a friend’s house after school and having them show off all their cool stuff. You’re spot on about Christian-having his videos on is like hanging out with an old friend

I have this Australian tape: 18:30 not the vhs but Betamax. It's amazing we had this "Graphic Uncut Version" with the full "Tina's Blood Splash", and also Johnny Depp's "Geyser of blood" footage. I also have Part 4 vhs, Part 5 vhs, and Freddy's Dead - never used and new in seal.

Absolutely amazing collection mate! Thank you for the video. 👊. Seeing as you talked about the Freddie VS Jason soundtrack (which is fucking awesome btw) if you want more heavy, brutal music with heavy horror vibes I highly recommend the artist Gost and album Prophecy.

Hollywood Boulevard was the video store's name. Was a member back in the day. Got my ex rental copy of The Dream Master.. I believe late 80's, from another one of my local video stores, called "Max's movies" in Wentworthville a suburn of Parramatta. I paid top dollar for an Australian copy of the original A Nightmare On Elm Street not so many years back when the prices were insane. I paid around $520 and later bought another copy again on ebay for much less, that is so I could have two copies with the alternate covers displayed together 😁. Also have Freddy's revenge ( 2 copies) The Dream Warriors (with the orange slick cover fading to yellow), The Dream Child and Freddy's Dead... .all Australian ex rental copies. Including all 8 ex rental AUS vhs copies of Freddy's Nightmares.

My most treasured piece of horror physical media is probably the twentieth anniversary hard case VHS edition of John Carpenter's "Halloween". My older brother bought it in 1998, right before "H20" was released in theatres. I was seven-years-old, and I begged my mom to let me watch it with my brother. Even though it frightened the shit out of me, "Halloween" immediately became my favourite film of all-time. Over the years, with multiple purchases of DVD, BD, and streaming (haven't bought the 4K yet), he gave me his VHS, since I collect everything "Halloween". It doesn't get played; just displayed and admired.

That Nightmare documentary is indeed great. The one for Friday the 13th, Crystal Lake Memories, is equally great. Think it's even longer at close to 6 hours.

A similar underage thing happened to me when part 2 was released on vhs! In the UK it was rated 18, I was only 17 at the time and was worried that I would get carded but luckily the lady serving me knew me and also knew how old I was because we were doing the same college course(thank you Woolworths). I like the blu ray versions as parts 2 to new nightmare are doubled down, so you can watch dream master and dream child back to back without changing discs and yes never sleep again is indeed ace! And as always awesome video👍

Awesome collection Chris! Makes me wish my Mom hadn’t thrown away my horror vhs tapes when I was a kid 😢. Also, you were giving off major Jared Padalecki vibes in that convention footage 😆

Every time I think of the Freddy vs Jason soundtrack I think of working at HMV when it was new and I played it at 9am and the other staff told me to turn it off because they were hungover.

Love your collection, I love collecting physical media especially for horror, unfortunately all of my horror collection got thrown out by my old landlord, so now all I have is just a few shirts. Although I do plan to start collecting again, just gonna have to wait a bit, until I have the money for it.

My media collection consists of the films on UK VHS, up to New Nightmare, the 1999 Region 1 DVD Boxset (still one of my favourite sets), the 7 film Blu Ray set and the Never Sleep Again Blu Ray documentary both US and German version. Freddy vs Jason on DVD and Blu Ray. Infinfilm NOES DVD and NOES/NOES Remake Blu Ray double pack. Also on DVD, I have the Freddy Nightmares (awful). For soundtracks, I have the remastered CD's in the sweater packaging and the original unremastered OST's. I also have the same NOES 1 2 and 3 book, NOES 4 book and the Freddy Nightmares book. I made my own audiobooks by putting the film VHS audio onto cassette and then from DVD to mp3. I listened to them at school and read the books on the bus to college.

Awesome collection!! Did you ever get the Uncensored version of The Dream Child on VHS? Here in the USA (my country), we got both versions on VHS and I think on LaserDisc. With your version of the 2-disc set of the original ANOES, I participated in that set by sending part of my collection to a production company who did the 3 extras on the second disc. Plus did you ever get Freddy’s Dead on VHS with the 3D ending like what the UK and I think Europe got? I’d like to show you what I have via either Facebook or X (formerly Twitter).

Did you ever read the “Freddy Krueger’s Tales Of Terror” novels? I remember reading those in middle school and they were actually well written. My favorite was the one called Fatal Games but it’s hard to find and very expensive if you do.
