In today's video I will be showing you how to turn your old cold process soap scraps or fails into something gorgeous by whipping it into submission. This whole whipping soap idea was all my mom's who isn't even a soap maker, so kudos to her for suggesting it! What is simple syrup? I've had loads of people ask. It's nothing more than a fancy word for sugar water. I did a 2 to 1 ratio. I part sugar to two parts water. There is no real measurement I used other than what looked right for my rebatch.
If you happen to try this method and upload it, please give credit. My mother was the creator of this method as mentioned above and I see lots of videos using it, but not a mention to where it came from. Just be kind and give credit when it's due, plus let me know because I would love to see how it turned out for you!!!
Thanks for watching! Don't forget to go and check out my friend Lajuana's channel here / @lajuanabassett1298 do show her as much love and support as you my awesome subscribers have shown me.

Wow, thank you. I have made several successful batches of soap, thanks to Elly's Everyday Soaps. Then my butcher gave me 2 Kilo's of Beef Tallow. Anyway, after 2 failed batched I felt like a failure. Now thanks to you I have rebatched them. It's so enjoyable to watch your creative creations. Thank You from Australia.

BEST Rebatch Ever!! You've inspired me, I was mourning for this fabulous shampoo bar, 4 lb loaf, because the scent just disappeared, fast. It has luxury organic butters, oils & additives in it but no superfat or color. It's like a blank canvas, or rather an empty soap mold staring at me while my mother's voice is in my head saying 'Don't you throw that away, you never know what can happen & you're going to be Needing this, lol! Yes, she grew up during the Great Depression. Seriously, your rebatch turned out so nice. Please post the other rebatch vid. Have you watched any of the other rebatch soap vids? It's Freaking Scary. The Soaping World NEEDS Your Other Rebatch Video! Plus I love watching your vids so.. Thank you! You make soaping fun!!😊🎆

💥💥💥💥💥💥So glad I saw this...from 2015 Thank you! I have recently been watching rebatch process by other DIYers. But, I must say, thank you to your Mom! I was told by one DIYer (owns her own soap making business and on KZbin for years.) that Rebatch soap is called the "ugly" soap because it will never be a "smooth" or pretty looking soap. I bought a bag of her Rebach and used her method. It came out ugly but so lathery and smells so good. HOWEVER, I am so happy that I found your video and I will certainly use this method to make a Rebatch, again and again. Please keep this video up. I'm so amazed!!😍😍🥰🥰💞💞 I Bookmarked it too!

Hello Dear! I found this whipping technique so awesome!!!! As I made some failed batch of soap, was looking for guidance on rebatching and saw yours....and fell in love with it. I actually tried it but mine came out too soft ....almost like playdough....too much milk I believe. The bad batch was already fresh and soft and added too much liquid. However did the whipping and loved the smoothness of it. God bless you... you are great ! Thank you for sharing

karijaneify Hi dearie! I agree, rebatches are pretty darn unattractive, but thank God I found a way to save them and you are so very welcome! Put this method to good use and make some gorgeous soaps and please share, I would love to see the outcome! Thanks for watching!

LOL A tip perhaps to avoid that "spam" look and colour of rebatched soaps: - add activated charcoal (and perhaps a "goodie" and make it a "special purpose" soap (detox) - add a stronger colour to the batch and put in embeds (white soap balls for example)

Hi Kenny! What a GREAT job! You always do such a wonderful job, even when you are TIRED! We all need you to keep showing us how. You are so very gracious and sweet. That cake made me want a piece of mocha chocolate cake so bad, it wasn't even funny. I think my project tomorrow will be to make myself a choc Kenny cake (edible one :)) and contemplate my next soap project, which might just be a soap cake, being as I have a hug container of shavings from all the soaps I have cleaned up lately. You are the best sweet angel, and a great many of us love you!

I will certainly pet the kitties, and you know how it goes with teenagers...shopping and hanging with friends and all that, lol! This the video that got me whipping my laundry soap. Except I add my FO before I whip it. It really is the best laundry soap I have ever used. For the absolute best version is old fashioned lard and let soap. But I use up my scraps this way. If I don't have enough when I need to make a batch, I close my eyes and pick a sacrificial bar to complete the soap noodle amount of 6oz. I hope you like it! kzbin.info/www/bejne/nX3MmHR4l7WtbcU

Thank you for doing this video. I love it! It's sooo inspiring and encouraging. I have watched it several times & subscribed! I am quite a new soaper and just experienced my first seized batch, due to fragrance I believe. The smell went funny too. I wonder if the saponification process burned my fragrance oil. Is that a thing that can happen? I jumped on YT looking to learn how to rebatch and found this awesome video. In the past others have made hot process sound so tedious. Your video not only encourages me to do this rebatch and make it fabulous, but I also feel emboldened enough to try out hot process as well! Can't wait to try your whipping method with this weird batch of mine. I grated my soap & ordered my crock pot and hand mixer today! One question: how long do I need to cure the whipped up rebatch? Thanks again! Keep slaying! I appreciate you!

Hi doll! Thank you so much, I'm so happy to have you watching my channel and so very happy you found this video helpful. I don't think the process burned your fragrance, but I've had experience with a fragrance smelling like ammonia for a few days before it changes back to normal, or just go weird altogether, lol. Hot process is much like rebatch, I definitely encourage you to ahead and give it a go. I don't do it very often, but I have indeed made it, but cold process has my heart, lol. Usually when I rebatch, I let my soaps cure for about a week, just be sure most of the water has evaporated, but I've had some where I've used them immediately. Again, I am so happy you found my channel and subscribed, and I wish you the best of luck with your soaping dear. Have fun and thanks so much for watching and commenting!

Dana Madison, this cake does remind me of a mousse pie I got from starbucks once and hell, honey if you were here when I was making it, you might have saw me sticking my finger in right along with you, LOL! YT is notorious for not always sending notifications. Most times I check my email to see comments because when I log in to my channel, only some notifications show. HAHHAHA! I did love the color in the beginning stages, but after a while, I was like, hmmmmm... but then it grew on me again! And ma'am, Oh how I wish I could talk to you all live, it would help with decisions greatly. That's why I always say, "What do you all think?" As if you can hear me, LOL! And I was sure to tell Hunter what you said, and her response was...grumbling, LOL! She said, I shouldn't have told you all, but hey, that's what moms do and she needed the kick in the pants! Thanks again doll and I love you right back!

I'm gonna try it next time I do a rebatch. I had an absolute disaster today. I tried to put yellow dye and beach breezes fo together. I got ONE stinking rose done and turned around and the entire batch was seized. I just about cried. So, I stuck it in a crockpot and hot batched it. Then, right as it was getting close to being done, Shawn gets home and has a couple packages. It was some butters I ordered Friday and they were supposed to take a week to get here. Then my business partner showed up with some essentials oils. I just though....the stars are aligning here or God's giving me a sign or something. I put avocado, jojoba, and mango butter in there. Added some grapefruit and lemon scent. Omg. It smells JUST like a lemonhead. This crappy day just got a whole lot better. Man. I'm so happy right now. I wish i'd thought to add some colorant now.

I am curious as to whether adding the milk and syrup in after the soap was already created shortens the shelf life of the soap? Since its already been saponified previously, then the milk would just be suspended in the soap...did you run into any issues with that?
