Is this fake? Well, I'm glad you asked. As any fair piano player or a person with logic can see, the keys on the piano don't actually go down. That would be a fairly big clue as to whether it's a real piano or not. But you might say 'What if it uses sensors?'. Well, I have to congratulate this man on being able to follow the melodic contour, but there were a few times where it was a dead giveaway that it didn't really matter where he threw the balls. For example, the song starts with 3 of the same note, G, but clearly, the balls didn't hit the same key on the piano but it still came out as G G G. There are way more examples of this happening throughout his performance. (And, no. Just because I wasted all of my time writing that paragraph, and finding the notes of the song DOESN'T mean I don't have a life. Just so you know)

The piano is programmed with motion where any motion on the keys causes that key to play, so it's not fake. It's real.

@@broadcast116 I am a classical pianist and I can say for sure that the notes do not match. First of all, the balls he uses are bigger than the actual keys on the piano, so there is no way he could hit a single note without multiple notes sounding at once. Also, on the last chord of the piece, he throws 3 juggling balls down at once but the chord that sounds has 4 notes in it, which is a dead giveaway.

Captain here: This is partly fake, and partly real. The only part that is real is him playing in the rhythm, however it doesn't really matter where he hits the ball with. because this is not really a piano, it is simply a giant pad that whenever it get hit by a ball it plays the next note of the song, there for he is playing in the rhythm and tries to play somewhere in the range where it will look real. But you can obviously see from the first moment that he plays that he hits 3 different spots while the first 3 notes are identical

...Yeah, this is still pretty impressive, but there's no way this is 100% real. I'm pretty sure he has the keyboard hooked up on a specific note sequence that plays a certain note when the ball hits the keyboard, regardless of where it hit. Good video, but nice try. ;)
