It’s a tank that works only if you know what you’re doing. Its LFP and breech are lackluster in armor, but it’s round and thermal gen more than makes up for it. The commander sight is just so lovely and makes the FCS much more manageable. Newer players tend to charge in thinking they’re invincible, but their turret traverse, reload, and reverse get them killed quite often.

i really love the t-72av turms i grind it back then with the 2s28, bmp2m, strela10m2 and later with the obj292, su25 and su22 and i enjoy then even in todays meta

this tank is the premiumtard favorite, it has some armor: don’t get me wrong, it can shrug off 105 DM23 relatively easily and sometimes eat 105 DM33(source: I am gaijined multiple times in a CV90105), it has a good cannon, it has good thermals for those who cannot see, it has a relatively passive play style which is loved by newer players.

I brought this 1st that the T--55AM (1st time went on sale). The TURMS saw limited use (it might still has free repairs on it), despite i have other tanks around its BR, while i have hundreds of games in the T-55, and I don't hate the T-72AM at all. Tough its still better for ground assault than the premium Leo 2A4s that's for sure.

It performs exactly as if they were alive, so yes, you lose pen, ricochets and non pens are counted as normal, and APHE can't do it :)

Do you know how much pen is lost when you pen 2 targets and if spall damage is lost after the first pen? Imagine this: You shoot through a tank with 100mm side armor and hit a tank with 80mm side armor behind it. Like if you pen a 100mm plate with 320mm pen APFSDS at 100 meters, then pen another 100mm plate and then a 80mm plate that was behind the two plates of the first tank, would your APFSDS pen? And would it do much damage?

I am NOT HATING, I don’t think the t72 is good at all anymore. It might be a skill issue but whenever I’m fighting them in my STRYKER I just shoot lower front plate and 1 shot them.
