Loved this episode. Elijah in any shape or form is my favoritr. My only gripe was that it was really reckless for Marcel to take away all memories of being a vampire and then send him on his merry way.

It does tell you in this episode why she wasn't compelled she was on Vervain and that she had been taking it since the day she met Elijah cuz she knew who he was I think you missed that part

Why is it Main character like Marcel or many others. They can not even say Elijah's name properly. He calls him Elisha. When did a J make a sh sound? His Name is Elijah not Elisha.
