16:53 "y'all just let a seven years old.." That's one of my problems. They showed plenty "speed and finish" works even against magic but sometimes they let them all sit on their knees. The originals are the strongest vampires right? Their ass getting kicked by witches with simple headache or by newbie vampires. Hayley was savage in s2 and. And in s1, even when she was pregnant, she threw people around but in this season everyone is choking her. I get it. If they win all fights, even the simplest ones, there would be no storyline but it's so frustrating sometimes.

Yup! That’s probably one of my sole issues with antagonists/villains becoming protagonists. They almost always have to be weakened significantly and I hate that. I guess it’s more believable with Aurora, Tristan, and Lucien since they’re all almost the same age as The Originals, but for everyone else it’s just ridiculous.

I think in this situation it makes sense that they could be overpowered by these witches, and the strix. Hayley might be a hybrid and Marcel might be strong, but the strix vampires are an extremely old society of vampires and they’ve been shown to be able to go against the originals so far. All the witches in this show have been shown to be incredibly powerful, Davina especially. Klaus and Elijah were also weakened after having their throats slit and by the spell cast on them. Elijah still took out two witches in his weakened state. Davina was the only one that was left, and she broke the sireline all on her own.

The “Chambra de Chass” was originally introduced in the show so that the writers would be able to pull all characters in the show into a scene together (magically) and be able to interact together during the season, even if their actual character in reality is a million miles away like the Mikaelaons are typically. This method is used in almost every single season, once a season. 🖤

Maybe it’s the last time Klaus saw Stefan before Klaus dies, or maybe it’s the last time Stefan saw Klaus before Stefan died. Again, whichever way. But I would recommend not watching people’s reactions until you’ve finished the show. Spoilers will be inevitable if you look at the comments so I just wouldn’t bother watching the video period until you’re done. Just a little piece or advice. Just don’t read the comments. Plus there’s at least two or three common people in these comments that always spoil so beware and just don’t read them

It was great seeing Stefan again! I love that moment at the end with Klaus and him talking about Caroline and Hayley. I really liked that Davina broke Klaus’s sideline all on her own, and finally succeeded in bringing back Kol. She is so powerful. The sireline being broken definitely has repercussions going forward, but I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. It’s one of the things that continues to make this season so great. It wasn’t mentioned in the vampire diaries. I’m assuming Caroline and Damon probably felt something like Stefan did, and he told both of them about it after he got back. Besides them feeling something while it was happening, it wouldn’t really affect anyone besides Klaus, so it probably wasn’t that important to mention in TVD. I love how much you love Marcel. I love him too. He deserves to be treated better by all the characters and he deserves far more recognition than he gets for being one of the main characters and stealing every scene he’s in.

7:20 I loved all those scenes of Marcel, Hayley, Lucien, Freya, Stefan planning at the compound. 11:18 I think Stefan figures Hayley is a hybrid now, but I realized last time he saw her she was just a werewolf. 15:15 This has got to be one of my favorite build ups of any episode of TO. I just love Marcel and Hayley fighting together then the back and forth between Davina doing the spell and Freya breaking her brothers out of the chambre. Then 16:21 was epic with Davina saying “you’ve had your time” and sending Klaus back into the water- that moment had been building since S2 when Davina brought Mikael back and started trying to break the link. Love Davina in this episode. 16:57 Love that scene. I wish we’d gotten more flashbacks of Elijah and Aya or just more of Aya’s softer side. She was epic. 18:17 I’m so glad you caught that parallel. I didn’t on my first watch haha. The writer’s attention to detail is amazing this season. This is probably one of my top 5 episode of the whole series.

This is probably my favourite episode in season 3. It's obviously a bad episode for Klaus and that sucks because he is my favourite but just seeing Stefan again and seeing him work with everyone was pretty cool! I was never a Steroline fan but him talking about her to Hayley and Klaus was super cute. My favourite part was probably Klaus still disliking Damon! 😂 I love Marcel too! I wish they would stop doubting him all the time. Just by trying to stop the spell in the end should show them where his loyalties lie. Last but not least, Kol is back!

This is a Davina defense post!! I know nobody wanted the sire linked broken but I think actually breaking it is pretty cool for the show and brings in some stakes for Klaus but also just it being broken itself is cool cause it’s unexpected. And Davina breaking it makes sense because Klaus is nothing to her and she has been wanting to break that link since season 1 to free Josh and Marcel and now she just had the added push to get Kol back. Literally no one is looking out for Davina (Marcel comes and goes) so why should she feel like she owes them anything when everyone has routinely screwed her over. She wanted Kol back and she made it happen just like any other character would WHICH IM VERY HAPPY ABOUT CAUSE KOLVINA RIGHTS. Also Davina has always been extremely powerful and this just goes to show even more just how powerful she is so I don’t think it’s unrealistic cause she’s gotten one over on Klaus before

His sireline already died! Only klaus’s, and Rebekah’s sirelines exist. Klaus’s sireline was eventually broken with a spell so if klaus dies they won’t! There is a scene of kol and Rebekah where they’re partying somewhere with a lot of vampires and all the sudden 100 vampires die in the club, so they knew Elijah died. Eventually he got brought back to life tho, but not his sireline! It’s very confusing because originals keep dying but get brought back to life. But eventually after they get brought back they can always make a new sireline so yeah, all tho I think Elijah wouldn’t make anyone a vampire anymore. He has changed, what is a good thing tho. Kol got killed in The Vampire Diaries so his sireline died with him, but he got brought back to life like 2 or 3 times. So 3 of the 5 existing vampire sirelines got erased! What kind of sucks, because it’s cool to see that almost half the population on earth are vampires.
