In TVD 7x 14 Caroline came to NOLA, during the "3 Years from now" timeskip (forward), looking for Klaus. But when she arrived, she was told that Klaus hadn't been seen or heard from in 3 years. This is why.

During filming the creators didn't know if the series would be renewed for another season, so each season finale was made as the series finale.

I thought this question. What if the Mystic Falls crew had been in the crowd as Marcel's witnesses? Marcel points to Elena: killed her aunt than sacrificed her Points to Tyler: murdered his mother Points to Stefan: turned off his humanity, made him a ripper again. Points to Alaric: possessed his body to hurt his friends.

Despite spending much of the latter of season 3 trying to find a way to kill him to the point he chose revenge over his relationship with Elena and drove her to Damon, so in that regard he can blame Klaus for that. Regardless of their 1920's connection, i think Stefan only tolerates his "friendship" with Klaus and wouldn't care of his death if he knew the sire bond was broken, at least he'd understand the pain and desire for justice/revenge from the other vampires.

sidetracking abit but in TVD, Esther had to channel Finn using his blood to link all of the Originals together while Freya in this episode did the same and put them all to sleep performing Dahlia’s sleep spell while on the verge of dying from poison. Talk about being one powerful firstborn

It's funny how seasons 2 & 3 are the best respective seasons of both the originals & the vampire diaries, then you just keep watching because you're invested in these characters and cast. Legacies doesn’t exist in my books.

Don't hate me but, I agreed with everything Rebekkah said during her speech even though I know she was only partially pretending to execute the plan. I've never liked Klaus and hardly ever sympathized with him, he is an evil villain who I don't think can ever be fully redeemed. I watched The Originals for the interesting plots than I did for the characters. However, I do think Joseph Morgan is an amazing actor who nails every scene he's in as Klaus. So the acting combined with the great writing, and cool, bloody, violence is why I watched this show. And also I love TVD but, prefer that show just due to the fact I like the characters even if the later seasons plotlines aren't as good as most TO's plotlines.

I’m 2 years a little late but you got to remember Klaus was well on his way to talking down Marcel until dumb ass Elijah showed up making threats. Klaus could have easily just accepted Marcel being his equal or more importantly his better but noooo Klaus wouldn’t stand having someone more powerful than him. I do agree with you though I would have done the same for my family, although I’m on Marcel side! That’s the beautiful thing with this show, they really make you think about this & that and different dilemmas
