I got too emotionally attached to the characters. I still can't move on from the originals. Its one of the best tv series ever. the cast, plot, script are very good. It's honestly soooo much better than tvd. Those who haven't watch this are missing out a lot. But season 5 was a bit meh for me bc they mainly focused on Hope, I guess it was to promote their other series, Legacies. But it was bearable and it had fewer episodes. but besides that everything, the previous seasons were really good!

You don't really need to watch TVD. It doesn't really affect the story or the plot of the originals. But i understand what some people tell you that. So i'll just summarize what you can learn if you watch TVD up to klaus leaving: 1- TVD best seasons are the first 4 or so. But as someone who watched both, The originials is so much better that the TVD even for TVD early seasons 2- You can understand more of the portrayed relationships/feeling between the Mikelsons in the early "Originals" story. 3- You can have a clear understanding of the differents Mikelsons persenalities, specially Klaus, before they learn about his daughter. 4- You can get a clear idea about how the Mikelsons came to this (The begining of the originals) This is all i could think of LOL. But as i said you won't lose much if you don't watch TVD because the stories are so different and they have minim to none relashionship watsover.

You know Klaus Mikaelson is the best, when he appears as a villain in TVD who was supposed to be killed off in the series, but instead he gets a spin off show. What an amazing actor! Fell in love with him instantly. In my opinion TVD is nothing compared to The Originals. Sorry Damon, but Klaus and Elijah stole my heart. And as a note, Elena was one of the most boring character ever, crying drama queen!

Palak Agrawal thanks! To be honest, I will never understand the buzz around Damon and Elena. I mean, he’s a good looking guy and he was super funny but that’s it. Her, just so average. Their story was so boring, Elena was never satisfied. Constantly moaning about something. And the fact that she didn’t want to play in the show anymore at some point made me think that everything was for her but she didn’t give a damn after all. Lol. Her relationship with Stefan was more pasional and deep, I keep wondering why on earth the writers made her love both brothers so much. To be honest any other relationship from the show is far much better than Delena. Even his little thing for Rose, was more deep and interesting. Her death had an impact on Damon. Plus, the entire show is wrapped around her finger, doesn’t matter who dies or what happens, if it’s for her, it’s ok. Pathetic. Andddd, not to mention that her and Damon are the only ones with a happy end. I believe the rest of them deserved so much better. Was so suffocating to watch, the only thing that made me watch until the end is Caroline’a character development, which turned to be the main character for me. And of course, I wanted to see the entire connection to The originals. Once again, Klaus stole both shows for me. Joseph Morgan as Klaus and Daniel Gillies as Elijah will be the best duo ever. Always and forever.

@@madalinaelle actually it is so right!! Because there was a point in the show from where everything was about elena, everyone, every freaking character in the show wanted to save her!! And it made show boring because show was about salvatore brothers and their growing bond... every relationship be it stelena or delena was meant to be extra thing in the show but it ended up being the main plot of show..... and I'm not against nina dobrev she is an amazing actress. she made me like katherine and hate elena.... I love originals because the plot was so amazing and the show doesnt left its essence, its main story , its base at any point ,.... which was a vow of Always and Forever and family being there for each other!!!... so for me the originals and mikaelson brothers always will be the priority.

Palak Agrawal exactly my thought. I’m glad I’m not the only one with this opinion. And it’s a shame that most people associate The Originals with TVD, when in fact, The Originals is so much better but still so underrated.

@@madalinaelle that's true people are so into shipping characters and there is hype of delena so much that most of the people fails to understand what the story is about.... what the show wants to convey and what the point of the show but no one grabs that and all just goes into seeing two people who failed as a couple in real life but still stans them and that's okay I'm not a delena hater or anything but it's just pathetic to see how they are unnecessarily so much hyped about. They are overrated. No one stans tvd as tvd all of those people stans tvd because of their favorite ship be it delena, stelena, steroline, this or that etc. And I dont like how people compares originals with tvd.... there is no comparison between two

One of the best show to watch atleast one time. It has everything to keep you attached. Action, emotions, super natural Power, love, fear etc etc. Definately watch this👍
