I guess in a way you still witnessed history this game, basically the halfway point of the Sox losing streak! 😂. I find it fun getting players attentions by making them recognize our age difference compared to everyone else. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve yelled “Cmon, give the big kids some love!” And a different umpire hat I notice! I can’t tell if like the all black version or the colored version better.

Tony Taters was a fan favorite, but they simply didn't have room for him anymore. They have to get their young guys more AB's. If he was good defensively, could run the bases or could get on base at at least a league average rate I'd agree, but he's a 1 tool player. 1 tool players aren't worth $90 mil.

It's hard to bank on him doing that every year going forward into his mid 30's, and if he's not hitting a ton of HR's, where's the value?
