1st story: You got attached. You shouldn't have. This is why you don't get involved with women that are in a relationship. 2nd story: You separated. You're not together anymore. If you just met up once a month, you should have talked about how serious you 2 are or if you're still exclusive. If you didn't like where things were going, you should have just broken up and moved on. Taking about your ex like that and trying to turn people against her is a bad idea. 3rd story: OP is not the problem, the husband is. If the husband wants a divorce, let him have it. 4th story: Being swingers might cause problems with a divorce. It might not be considered cheating anymore. If there were spouses at that teachers' outing and you popped up, that pretty much forced her hand. She chose you. The guy might have just been something else. There is a chance that nothing physical happened, although you should find out. That private investigator should have tried to track her whereabouts during the supposed affair.
