God brought Alcoholics Anonymous to help in the dream. I have been sober many many years and that has brought me to a higher place to be able to accept these teachings!

I found watching Paul Hedderman on 12 step reflections really good and his zen bitchslap site too on non duality where he also mentions ACIM. HE is also a great teacher from experience. His lingo is different, but you catch on. He has written books if that helps.

Me too. However, God is not involved in our dream. It doesn't make things happen here.We do. It only knows that its Son is dreaming.

Beautiful Keith.I actually fell asleep listening to you in the quiet centre letting go of my phone and hit myself in the chin with it...all things are happening for good.. maybe the Holy spirit was prompting me to stay awake until the finish of your teaching. I laughed when it happened.. anyway..I am away to rest in god again...❤

I would be bold to suggest that we suffer because of our wanting or desire to think we are thinking the thoughts were thinking and that we’re an ego. This small ‘ w’will sets up the guilty conflict. The endgame is Thy Will be done. As a corollary, we don’t suffer because of the meaningless thoughts that we observe but because we want them, desire them to be true. They avail us something. Forgiveness is ultimately giving up wanting illusions to be true. Being still and quiet is wanting reality which automatically undoes the old wish for the false. To really mean, I want the peace of God.

So many great points in your comment: * - the small "we": that's how I've been thinking too, as in: we are [actually, its we think we are characters and individuals] the "broken pieces" [breakaway ideas] of a light extension from Source (called in ACIM terminology, the Son of God); * - "we don't suffer because of the meaningless thoughts ... but because we want them, desire them to be true" * -"forgiveness is ultimately giving up wanting illusions to be true": ... and for me, how I formulate this (I've learnt it's important to put everything in one's own words, finding a way to make it meaningful to self, being responsible for one's own understanding), forgiveness means an undoing of multiple identities, and not just of one: ie as an individual hero character: all the aspects of this hero in the story: innocent victim idea has many aspects, including persecutor and rescuer: the "victim" can cause troubles for others. . *Thank you* for the clarity of this comment. It's very helpful. *

Had to wait for the very last bit about Krishna and then what you said about relationship ending for my own good was exactly what i needed to hear. I am hearing more and more clearly the Voice for God. I'll ask"who is the one looking at what's apparently happening with no judgment? Then I say "I join with him and look with him at what's coming up in my mind and judge it not as he judges it not. I need do nothing." And it brings me to the quiet center of peace, stillness and silence as the awareness that looks. A softness and sweetness so alluring and real that my mind is soothed into surrender. I thank you my brother for saving me from my misery 🙏 💯 ❤

Yes mind altering, for me: how Krishna nudges us towards waking up. It sheds light on all my troubles, and now can see so clearly how everything I have valued and have taken comfort in, has been taken away ... in service of a bigger, vast, immense picture. All things work together for the good, except from the ego's way of looking at things. I do not know what anything, including this, means, and so do not know how to respond ... and will not use my own past learning as the light to guide me now.

@sohara.... thank you 😊. I thought that the period of destabilizing was over for me 16yrs ago when I found the Course, and that I was on the track to awakening but i just kept seeking ,because that's what egos do. I was trapped, holy,happy ego. And all my seeking was for vanity, not enoughness. Gathering and collecting knowledge. But Acim ,the forgiveness process was my constant even though I went off track over and over again seeking. The pain of heartbreak is what finally brought me to depend on the Course completely because the forgiveness process is the only thing that gave me relief. Do nothing alone, but look with Him whose function is your release ,Jesus/Holy Spirit/Right Mind is the One that looks at the present moment without judgment, the only moment that exist. I join with him in his looking, and do nothing. Love responds to all needs in the present moment, I need do nothing. 💔🙏

17:00 *The peace is always available...* ----- *"... you need do nothing.* ----- *"In my defencelessness, my safety lies."* There is *A GREAT RANT* relevant (for me, anyway, at moment & so worth listening to over & over again) around 30:00 and including the battle cry: *die on the battleground* Yes.

I guess another way of dying on the battlefield is acceptance and surrendering....laying down your weapons and forgive your past for it to dissolve.
@acimwithkeith3 ай бұрын
Total surrender to, and acceptance of, what is - the world, thoughts and feelings- IS what it means to die on the battleground. You die to the doer, opposer, juge and fixer identity, the one who would have what is be other than it is. This one is an illusion.
