I heard a brother say don't listen to music if you want to memorize Quran. Best advice ever
@therandomguy10394 жыл бұрын
Khanage911 could you explain the reasoning behind it ?
@Khanage9114 жыл бұрын
@@therandomguy1039 I believe it is because the Quran has a flow or melody to it and listening to music disrupts that flow. Have you ever noticed that sometimes your not even paying attention to a song and someone else is playing in the background and the brain memorizes it. Why , because of the beat or flow. Hope you understand.

@Synthetic8573 жыл бұрын
Theres no rush in memorising the Quran, the most important part of memorisation is remembering what you have memorised. So if you are struggling at the 12th juz, the best course of action is to go back and go through each juz thoroughly until you are confident with each one.Only then should you proceed to next juz. Hope that makes sense.

One way to memorize the Qur’an is to memorize 3 lines after each prayer, which means you will have memorized 15 lines by the end of the day, which equals 1 page, and you do this for 6 days, and in the 7th day you revise the 6 pages you have memorized. This means that by the end of one month, you will have memorized a little bit more than one juz’. This method needs about 2 years to memorize the Qur’an, In Sha’a Allah. The beautiful thing is that you can adjust the number of lines you want to memorize according to what you see, and you get to focus on individual ayat.

@amirsyafrudin Жыл бұрын
Key takeaways: 1. Memorizing starts when you finished. This is important. 2. Choose a method according to your preference. No one size fits all. As for memorizing backward, I can relate. I got the same experience when memorizing backward. However, I personally prefer a mixed method. Sometimes it's forward, other times it's backward. Since I don't enroll in any school, I have the liberty to choose the verses to memorize. Currently, I prioritized verses with the most personal impact for myself. I chose verses that relates the most to me, be it as a father, as a son, as a worker, or as a person in general. That keeps me motivated.

MashAllah what amazing advice from the both of them. From the Ottomon Guy, His method of Memorizing last page from each Juz is actually such a motivator in my opinion. Like, you basically get a taste of every Juz and thus are familiar with them alittle more. As for the Host of Ilmfeed, His method is literally exactly like how I used to do it. Every night you simply read your lesson (A page or a few lines etc...) and then you just keep repeating, the next day InshAllah it'll become very solid and would only need to be revised a couple of times. Note: When Memorizing Quran, it is strongly encouraged to stay away from technology for a good amount of time. JazakumUllahukhairan, May Allah (S.W) Enable us all to Memorize his Glorious Book Ameen.

Wow this is a good logic for the starter. "It's like build a foundation." So basically you memorize from the bottom and up
@hunny5853 жыл бұрын
but i didnt understand..cn u explain
@khafidkhafi2 жыл бұрын
@@hunny585 I know I'm suuuper late, but lemme explain: You start your memorization from the very last page of a juz, and then, you memorize from the very last ayah of that page, and continue upwards to the first ayah on that page. But when you recite it, recite it from top to bottom entirely. The man on the video says to memorize the last page of every juz first, one page a day (at minimum). And once you're done, now you're going to the second last page of every juz. And continue doing this until you reach the first page of every juz. But you can also just memorize one juz at one time rather than jump from the last page of one juz to the other last page of another juz, if it's too confusing for you. So this way, after you're done with the last page of that juz, the next day, you memorize the second last page, and at the end of the day you recite the two pages you've memorized all together. And continue doing so until that juz is finished. Once you're comfortable with your memorization of that juz, you can continue to the next one and do the same thing. So you're doing your memorization *and also* repetition at the same time. I do recommend to do one or two days of pure repetition for the juz you've memorized before you continue to the next juz, or at least until you feel really comfortable and familiar with it.

May Allah make it easy for you... But I don't prefer this method because the main purpose of The quran is guidance not just to memorize it without even knowing the meaning.... We must do it from the beginning if possible then with meaning plus pondering upon the verses, If we do it from backward, it will be difficult to ponder and to memorize with meaning For example, Surah Yusuf... It is about the story of Yusuf As, Did you ever read a story from its last page and ending with the first page?? No.... Likewise the quran... If you want to memorize it, start from the beginning not from the last, I mean not backward as mentioned in this video.... Plus this is not the method of the three generations, whom we r supposed to follow... So who will u follow?? The three generations or the Ottomans?? Choice is yours 😊.... May Allah guide us all, Ameen.

Masha Allah. So inspirational. Both of the two brothers. It’s not an eazy task but Allah always grant Hadiths that extra strength to remember and they grow a love for it. Lots of Surah we memorize in Madrasah like yaseen and of course the Friday Al Kahf Algamdolilah. With effort one can see how u grow to love reading the Quran eventually u also desire to memorize the wonderful Book of truth. Insha Allah may Allah grant all our wishes. 🙏

Turkish hafidh always start from the end, because you always know which ayah comes after the other one if you memorizes it from the end. That's why the Ottomans did it so.

Thanku so much, I can understand the wisdom behind this technique. Each verse u memorise, u give some time for it to sink in and then revise, so basically if u memorising one page of 15 verses, u have revised each verse 15 times per sitting........brilliant!

Assalamu 'Alaikum, I am currently doing part-time hifz along with regular schooling. Please make du'a for my teacher and me, that I do not forget whatever I memorize, that it is easier for me to memorize, etc. Sorry if this request made someone cringe lol. JazaakAllah.

another useful method I have learned was to read your new memorisation 10 times in a row, then reading it 10 times without looking (Preferably to someone else). This makes your review very strong !

I have also memorized the whole Quraan (By the blessing of Allah). I memorized one page daily from one Juz. And then next day, i recite to my teacher todays page and the previous ones that we memorized since the beggining of the Juz. When i started 2nd Juz, I recite to my teacher previous juz as well. This method is very very effective.

Assalamualaikum, thank you for sharing a few tips in memorizing Qur'an. One of the tips that I've ever heard before is memorizing from the end to the beginning. It is a new tip for me. It is amazing! It means that when we have memorized the last page of a juz and then start to memorize at the beginning, we will know this juz will end with these verses which are on the last page of that juz. We will already know the end of each juz. So interesting.

And sometimes explaining method of memorization becomes much harder than memorizing the pages 😅
@sensizyol254 жыл бұрын
So simply, I am explaining inshaAllah for everyone to understand. The Quran has 30 juz. Each juz has 20 pages. You start with the last page of the first juz, and progress until you reach the last page of the last juz. This inshaAllah will be done in one month as there are 30 days for 30 pages. Than you start with the 19th page of the first juz to the 19th page of the last juz, also in one month. And then proceed with the rest of the pages 18, 17, 16...2,1. Now you have completed the hifz in 2 and a half years as one juz was memorized for one month. inshaAllah it was clear enough.

Sensiz Yol still didn’t get it.. and where is the advantage to just learning each juz one after the other ?
@sensizyol254 жыл бұрын
@@Stuttgart1887 I don't know for sure but I think the advantage is at the fact that you will be always learnig the page before what you have already learned and can complete with the following pages everyday, so you don't just learn the new page and forget about the rest, but learn the new one and repeat the old ones as well. Hope I was clear enough. Also what you didn't understand in the previous explanation?

I have a different way to learn. My focus is on learning to understand the grammar and meaning of the verses so I know what I'll be reciting. If u understand what you read/recite the memorization comes easier

Honestly this makes so much sense?! Like whenever I memorize any surah, at the first few pages my memorization is very strong but as I continue my memorization becomes worse compared to the first pages because whenever I recite the Quran... I start from the beginning of the surah and most of the time I never finish reading it... Thank you so much for this Trying this method inshaallah 💗
@northeastwestsouthnews31894 жыл бұрын
Try the Second method ! Recite(read) a surah almost 30 -50 times a day Surely you will memorize the surah in a very clear manner
