I loved Outer Worlds a lot. The Dialogue was fantastic and the world was very captivating. I think Fallout did it better though. The RPG elements like the perk system was very lackluster, basic and didn’t do much with the cool world surrounding it. The perks themselves were pretty lame, like simple stat boosts. The combat was pretty streamlined as well. There was a real lack of enemies as well, which was also disappointing considering how many planets you can visit and stuff. There are hardly any planet exclusive animals which is a missed opportunity. There also were a few missions that didn’t give you the direction you wanted to take, which was just annoying. One major choice ruined my playthrough because I thought I’d be able to go my own way despite telling a character something else. I will say this though, none of these are BAD things just things i wish were included. In fact, everything simply just works and there’s no real negatives, even if it didn’t bring all that much that’s NEW to RPGs it really worked and kept me engaged until the end

I agree about the perks! Not very interesting! I’m having a lot of fun with the combat, but to be fair I haven’t had very much experience with FPS games! So it’s still pretty novel to me! 😂 Your points are all fair though!

@@marcusisahooper there is a lot to say about this subject, but too keep it short, everything that made Fallout New Vegas great, was absent here. After a while playing into the campaign you see there are only 3 enemy types and with leveling up you are literally no match for them, making the game, well, somewhat boring. To me it is just an mediocre game, that looks pretty and I can't find the motivation to finish it...sadly... Maybe some day I will give it another go. I also saw the secound one is in the works...

@@marcusisahooper yes i mean... In the beginning you have to have strats but later you just do so much damage with slightly better equipment and by just pumping one weapon skill... It becomes boring

Gotcha! I can definitely see that! I’m pretty new to FPS games so I’m still having fun, but I can see that happening for sure!
