I love watching your videos, you are the model of talent, beauty, and wholesomeness. My mother raised 9 children (2 eldest were boys, and 7 younger girls). Dad worked full-time and part time jobs, mom worked part-time, AND all while they both took college classes at night. Mom’s side gig was sewing. She made wedding dresses, and prom dresses and made all of her own clothes as well as clothes for all of my sisters. While I was going through college and trying to work part-time, struggling, I asked my mother how she and Dad did it. She smiled gently and said, “You just do it. You will see that when you have your own family, you don't think about it, you just do it because you have to.” Mom just turned 83 and still gets things done like a boss. I love you mom, RIP Dad. God bless you both.

When I went thru my Grandmother’s clothes after she passed I uncovered an exquisite collection of silk lingerie. She was the darling of my deaf grandfather. Together they built a very successful gas station and UHaul business. She was the most strait laced Baptist I had ever met. As a good Christian woman she clearly prioritized and enjoyed the sacrament of the marital bed😁💜

Okay, so I’m an old guy who sews and just subbed to your channel as I’ve been not actively sewing for about 20 years and am just getting back into it. First, this set was amazing. My mother had something similar in baby blue but just past knee length. Though I remember her wearing it with her hair in curlers, no makeup and a cigarette hanging from her mouth as she made breakfast. NOT very attractive. My parents divorced in 1975, lol. Second, I love your work and style!

I've not even watched halfway through yet, but I already love everything about this! I'm 52 and I've been buying vintage "nighties" (grandma's term) for 10 years now. You can get lucky and find things brand new with tags for a decent price, but they are usually pricy. I bought a free standing clothing rack that I display them on in my bedroom. I have several that need small repairs, so here I am with ZERO sewing skills trying to learn a thing or two! Thank you for explaining things so thoroughly for those of us who are brand new to sewing. It's going to be a long journey for me, but I aspire to get to your level.
