The Overland Expo West Adventure part 3, Lake Mead to Sand Hollow

The Overland Expo West Adventure part 3. I thought I had addressed the fuel and power issues from the first part of the trip. However, before we made it to camp, the navigation issues hit me hard, leaving both Matt and I almost out of gas. For a second time the Jeeps outdated navigation and my phones navigation made it unclear when we needed to turn. After some tense moments we made it to camp only to find out the laundry facilities did not work. The laundry facility was the only reason we stopped here…O-well. As we head out, I realize I don’t have power to my 12v charging port. Then when we made it to Sand Hollow, I realized that I lost power to my refrigerator too. Then Matt has an issue with his camper. After some trouble shooting and repairs, we find some time to hit the trails and even get to help a stranded motorist. Please consider supporting the channel by subscribing. @@DunnageGarage it was pretty cool. I like Moab better. It’s not as far and there are a lot more moderate trails. Sand Hollow has a lot of hard-core trails. However, we really enjoyed the West Rim Trail.

@@ryandickinson3331 I would like to go back at some point with a few more days and a guide book with the trails listed. As for Moab, that last few miles into town has always felt like I was arriving home! Maybe one of these days I will be able to call Moab home.
