Found one for TPS I haven't seen online yet. Have to be in UVHM I started at level 48 and got to 70 in about 2hrs. Just rescue Jack at the beginning of the playthrough. You get around 40k XP a white shield and money. Then just reset your game and do it again for 2hrs. You'll have a few million dollars too.

@@mrforan0826 at the very beginning of the pre sequel you have to push through some legion defenses and get to jack, and then revive him. its the first quest step in the story campaign. it takes about 2 or 3 minutes max per run

It's a great farm, I think Joltzdude did it on his reborn Axton playthrough, but other than that not many people talk about it! Also Sandhawk swaping with a lady fist might speed the farm on characters other then Salvador (especially on Maya and Axtion).

Crit swapping would probably be faster but ultimately only save a few seconds which in this case i dont find to be super worth it. Personally I wouldn't wanna get a sandhawk and then have to reset my playthrough for another one when I'm max level/op level. I think Maya has enough dps with guaranteed slag, minds eye, reaper, and accelerate. I consider axton to be the fastest if you time the Gemini trick right when kingpin is able to be shot so that you get all your kill skills. He doesn't have to do any gear swapping so he can just keep going and going. I do want to test the sandhawk now cause the distance between the rock and the kingpin seems a little too close to kill him with one swap, but I could definitely be wrong

@@SuperNovaDragonYT yeah but those just mean you can get multiple of the same level sandhawk through a second controller or "choose" which sandhawk you get through dashboard farming. My problem is you still have to reset your playthrough to get a higher level sandhawk. Once the mission is picked up then the reward is locked to your current level.

I’ve been using a method that isn’t fastest overall but I believe to be fastest in bursts, bagging around a full late game level in under a minute, the only problem is the 15-20 minutes before that is waiting for spawns. It also doesn’t require save quits. Like your method I haven’t found anything online talking about letting 20 of Gees sandworms build up for xp, each worm gets over 10k. I don’t have the resources to edit a video nicely like yours but I had to share so I recently uploaded a clip of it and put details of how it’s done in the description if that sounds helpful to anyone

I think that the mutated varkid farm is really underrated, I've never seen anyone mention it as a good xp farm, I leveled my Salvador to lv80 pretty quickly.

Interesting way to level in uvhm. iirc they give 5k xp like rabids do right? It's most likely not mentioned because it is an annoying farm in terms of having to kill them. A lot of waiting around, rng for pods, and weapon swapping for slag (depending on who you're playing), plus their attacks kill you pretty much instantly. Maybe if you just use a slagga and skyrocket it could be done safely but it just doesn't seem as efficient. What did you use on sal to kill them?

I don't think that would be as efficient because you'd have to be closer to him to hit all of the pellets with the Harold, which means you're highly likely to be taking damage constantly and losing the bee shield amp.

I've had other people comment about how good the dragons farm is for them. I've never done it myself cause even though it's great for eridium too, it seems a bit tedious to me. Even the pumpkin farm gets to be annoying after doing it on so many characters but that's really every exp farm in BL2 😂 everything is a slog with how exp is balanced. Anyways, I hope you like the farm!!

I usually get a normal lady fist in normal mode, fire in tvhm (for farms like snowman/pumpkin), and shock in uvhm (for farms like pyro pete). For this Sal that's exactly what I did. As long as you have the bee shield it doesn't matter what level the lady fist is. Although on Sal his left hand doesn't get the amp damage bonus so if you're using the bee shield keep the lady fist in the right hand. If you dual wield lady fists you get 1600% crit but since the left one won't do amp damage it is useless unless it is on level (for doing damage itself)....But yeah if you want different element lady fists at the same level you'd have to get them on different characters or reset your uvhm playthrough. You can easily duplicate items with someone or just by having another controller so once you get your preferred lady fists just dupe them to give to other characters

To make your kills faster, you probably want the Sherrif's Badge. It's a huge help for the Lady Fist.

I disagree. It'll speed up the kill by a couple seconds at most but then you lose out on an extra 8%+ exp bonus. Since the base exp for killing the kingpin's body is ~20k, you're getting an extra ~2k depending on how high your exp relic % is. Every vault hunter has a way to boost their raw damage so the sherrif's badge isn't optimal here. You get more bonus exp over time than you'd get from saving like 3 or 4 seconds on each kill

@@M0nty428 I would agree, if you can kill 'em on the first go round. But if you have to run around the area to avoid being hit/killed, you may be saving more than 3 to 4 seconds per kill. It's worth a mention, as it changed how fast I was able to kill efficiently and I ended up using it instead of the XP relic when i was farming bosses.

Im in the middle of a zer0 playtrough and honestly i would like to understand whats the real fastest method on ps4, mick is good except for load time, pyro pit bar seems good too you just need a topnea and a sham but it cant bring you from 55 to 80 with underlevel weapons, and this farm seems good i did it on axton but you end up losing lots of money, and in general for Salvadoor you can farm dragons, so whats the overall best? This is my go to farming method for the base characters. It requires minimal/easy regearing + it's an easy kill. I only do Pete's bar on krieg and that feels like an eternitie's worth of time. I never do mick cause of the load times, it's just not worth it if I'm trying to grind to lv80 in one or two sittings. In my opinion this is the best farm for you. It does suck to lose all your money but you can make it back easily by selling all the loot that drops from your final kill of the pumpkin + going to bad maw or another quick farm to get quick loot to sell.

The bee shield is what allows you to use the lady fist at any level because the Amp damage makes the lady fist have insane critical hit damage. Even if you use other weapons like a sandhawk or pimpernel or whatever, the damage of those guns will drop off as you level up, so yes, the bee shield is required for maximum efficiency. While that does mean you have to pretty much beat UVHM or get through some of the Tina dlc to unlock the bee shield farm, it's infinitely faster to farm a new Bee every few levels than reset your whole playthrough to farm higher level versions of your weapons, plus you'd have to do the pumpkin dlc again each time

I think mutated varkid farm is better. I get 6.5 xp from each and i spawn around 20 of them each run of my path through tundra express. Takes about 10 mins per run. Took two runs per level from 74-76

If that works for you then that's great but by your statistics it is worse than farming the pumpkin kingpin. With this you get ~20-23k xp every ~1minute and it takes roughly 10-15 minutes per level. Plus you're always guaranteed to kill him and only have to farm for a new Bee shield every few levels. Farming varkids means refarming whatever weapons you're using + you have to slag them all + they can kill you very easily. Not every vault hunter is good for easily/safely taking the varkids down which means it can be very sloppy and time consuming. Ultimately I just think in terms of the numbers and strategy involved, pumpkin kingpin is way more efficient

That's the beauty of the mutated varkids to me tho. I don't have to farm anything at all. On Maya, I'm using a green adaptive shield, and a level 72 unkempt Harold. Rarely go down and I'm at 78 now. Doing a legendary binder build so they are all Slagged and subsequence cc'd. I tried farming bosses like wattle gobbler and kingpin but the gear was more particular and a bee seemed necessary

@@colemanjones4374 I agree Gaige is whack 😭 I have 2 level 80 Gaiges but her gameplay cycle is incredibly frustrating and boring. The most fun I have with her is going through segments of the story in one go with full anarchy. I actually do bar brawl for Krieg too though. He isn't good for the pumpkin farm at all so bloodsploding the bar is efficient enough. I did so with my friend during a playthrough we had this summer and we just talked for hours while we farmed it together. Was really enjoyable that way. For Axton I do like the pumpkin farm because I don't have to switch gear for movement speed. The Gemini kill skill trick makes it faster to get back to the arena and then doing it again when the pumpkin spawns gives free raw damage + fire rate. That trick is one of my favorite things in the whole series

Except no one has a norfleet at level 50-79 😭 if you take the time to farm hyperius for one before max level then you're better off just doing another xp farm lol. Get topneas instead from either the snowman train chest or the haderax parkour chest. Having to replace the topneas can be a pain but regardless, the bar brawl farm has its place but it's objectively not the best.

5 minutes??? That would definitely not be faster to get 5k xp every 5 minutes compared to 20k xp every 1ish minutes. You can just spawn at the lynchwood train in the dust and kill Mick right as you load in. I've had an Xbox One S since Christmas 2017 and it can take over a minute to load in depending on the size of the map. Save quitting for hours on end after being spawned in for only 5 seconds or so every time makes the game take longer to load and all of the textures get messed up (For me at least). That plus it just being extremely monotonous deters me from wanting to farm him. Also, getting the Maggie from him is great because you can kill him with it as you level up, but with this farm you will end up at lv80 with a bee shield so you can farm anything you want right after. I've been thinking of making a video farming Mick to test exactly how long it takes to get to lv80 compared to this farm.

Deputy Salvador is way better for anyone reading, or best if you are Salvador run in with fabled tortoise and auspicious raider mod Then put on bee and lady fist right hand and hydra or any jakobs in left that has at least 3 in magazine for full money shot bonus makes it a one shot Make sure u slag him with grog as he's getting up or have a slag lady fist. *Was literally 1 shotting him with level 61 hydra when he was level 72* Good luck.

Ooo and make sure put on fabled tortoise before downing yourself so you have 0 shield makes it easier to down yourself and when u spawn already have it on so super speedy to run back down

What level should I get the ladyfists?

Usually I get my fire ladyfist in tvhm at lv50. Since it has the bee shield amp it doesn't matter what the damage on the lady fist is. No matter the level they'll always have 800% crit so that will combine with the bee shield. For a normal playthrough I get shock lady fist in nvhm, fire in tvhm, and then whatever suits the character for uvhm, or just upgrade the fire/shock one. In uvhm I wait til I'm level 80.

PimperDuuurp is even better with the 42% explosive relic. Or better still (for fire averse enemies) the 61 million World Burn with SLOW rocket speed and 6 mag size. That PimpBurn with 42% fire bone of the ancients melts Hyperius when using the poisonous gas from Dahl Abandon. You don't have to save/quit with him or Voracidous.

This farm is specifically good for console players because load screen times are longer. What farms do you consider better than this ?

On Salvador exclusively, you can easily kill the ancient dragons for about 80,000 xp per run, and also get a crap-ton of eridium and seraph crystals. It's only really efficient on a Deputy Salvador build, and you'll need to upgrade your gun, the hydra being a good choice, once in a while.

@@Ben_Buzzell yeah only deputy sal can do that. The benefit of max crystals and eridium is a major bonus. Do you know how these two farms would compare time wise? Dragon farming means you gotta go through all of tina dlc, some of hammerlock, and hydra farm takes a bit. Pumpkin could either be some of Tina's or all of uvhm and also the pumpkin dlc itself. Only comparing the farms themselves seems like they'd be close cause dragons is more involved but I've never done that farm so I'm curious

What the heck. This is why bl2 was a bit of a turn off compared to 1 for me. You gotta farm specific bosses for specific gear for specific points in the game.. And yeah, it's nice to only need one of any given anything, and just throw it onto another character, but Id seriously be farming like 6 different bosses just for one playthrough to set up one character for maybe tvhm. It's too much for one max level maxed out character. I dont think Ill ever get every class maxxed, there's just too much to go through. And you cant farm badass rank quickly enough anymore, so on one console youve got badass rank buffs in the thousands and here the buffs are barely noticeable. I COULD farm new characters for easy ranks at a glacial pace... Or they could have not patched the fun exploit out of the grindy fun game. Ive got 1000 hours on switch bl1 alone, because it' s fun even with modded gear and Im.still hunting for new weapons. Bl 2 I dread every sidequest every missable challenge and my OCD makes me not wanna play because every new map means hours of searching to finish challenges. I just wanna borderlands but they put too much borderlands into the 2nd borderlands. Also what's with those eridium weapons being total garbage!?

That's all very interesting to me. I can understand wanting something more simple and short lived. BL1 is amazing for that for sure. It can be 100% completed in a timely manner of 1 to 2 weeks of sessions, or even run through quickly in just a few days if someone doesn't care for farming max level gear. Most people in the borderlands community love it as a palette refresher after they do a couple runs on BL2/BL3, but there isn't enough hours to sink in for most people to want to ONLY play BL1. BL2 definitely fumbled with the exp grind, it's a slog that no one enjoys. I also agree about badass ranks but personally I think it's pointless to worry about it at all. I play with it turned off because it's basically an afterthought, regardless of how high the stats are. I LOVE the challenges in BL2 but I don't think they should correlate to badass rank and should've been for exp like BL1. Eridian weapons in BL1 weren't good to start with (they were gorgeous to look at though) so eridium weapons in BL2 not being much better sucks. Topnea launchers are an S tier weapon but that's really it. Again, they are all gorgeous to look at but looks aren't what kills in this series, lol. But yeah I get your overall dislike for BL2s grindy nature. BL1 has pretty much no flaws when it comes to progressing to max level and farming gear, which is exactly why it made the looter shooter genre BOOM

Was this a real attempt at a joke? Anyways, my bar actually got reset to 0 along with all of my customizations at the New-U getting deleted. When Gearbox added the New Tales promo it bugged many people's games and they will most likely never fix it.
