If Blizzard puts you on a losing streak, then throw x3 number of games they make you endure. You can’t win with x4 dead weight in the team. So mess around and have fun. Make sure to lose on purpose. I went on like 20 straight games with at a minimal if x3 bad team mates. I was supposed to lose. Ok. Let’s see how low we can throw Blizz. Hope all of my team mates don’t mind.

Yea that's why I try and queue with friends more but in a team based game like this needs stats to come more into account so it doesnt deter players from quitting or just throwing matches.

what about impact vs feed damage kills and such? if stats matter more, a no brainer spamming bullets at everyone and getting damage on a pocketed tank- might win more elo than for example a tracer that picks up the enemy team for entry kills with less damage but higher impact... would u rather ur mates spam with no idea hoping u win them the game and not care because they would lose less for having higher damage/kills/running and such so they get better stats with no impact? thats just how i see it and it feels that losing the same as a team or winning as a team and having a bit of solo bonus or minus depending on solo winstreak lose streak new rank and if u were favored or the other way around would be better than what was written before.

Dps have a stat that says solo kills & final blows so if a tracer has very low damage but almost half of her kills are solo kills then she wouldnt get punished. The system is allegedly smart enough to determine which team would win even if you are one division apart so it should be able to tell when your stats would matter & when you played a key role in helping your team win.

@@KPR56 but then, when is enough or many solo kills? each game is different. How do u suggest the devs go through all instances and make a method that barely if at all misses?

There are so many instances where stats are fine or even good but a tank doesnt tske space or a healer is sleeping on u... if its here and there but not consistant, how do u suggest they go on enough of these to not be exploited such way that allows players to play risky and lose ur team the game because they want extra elo and wont care losing here and tgere because u lose more

They use to have a stats go into play before, they would base it off of the average kills or heals with that certain character. People have wanted a stat that shows how many heals everyone got each match but they dont add it so that is their fault. If a healer is sleeping on me then I go characters that dont rely on heals & still keep up with the rest of my team, there is no simple way to exploit this. It's not a very strong argument saying this is "exploitable" because it truly isnt. The only way to make it exploitable is to not track the percentage of the damage they did to the elim they got.

This sounds like a terrible idea. This would just encorage stat farming. The system has some issues, definitely, but making stats count discourages teamwork and encourages toxicity

So you shouldnt be rewarded for playing good? The system has a lot of issues and still is inconsistent. The game is more discouraging the way it is and people would be more encourage to work together if their stats mattered since they could potentially gain more sr or lose less sr depending on how they played.
