I was never on the Cancel Lilith train, but i was definitely furious with her last week. This week I'm feeling a little bit better about her, and I guess we'll see where she goes from here. It helps that up until episode 17, she'd been growing on me. Now she needs to grow on me once again and recover her progress.😛 Belos freaked me out this episode. He just doesn't seem...right. And I'm calling bullshit on his claims that he talks to the Titan. Reminds me of the people in our world who claim they have a direct line to God, or that they can speak to him. That's probably what he's an allegory for, if I had to guess. No idea what is his plan is, but he calls it the Day of Unity, and maybe it's literal; he wants to Unite the demon realm and the human realm, as in merge them into one. For what purpose I have no clue, considering he said he doesn't want to conquer it.

I think he is controlling the titan not the other way around. He is forcibly keeping it alive with the heart pipes so that he can harness his magic and I think he is human so he’s doing a perverted version of how Luz does magic with harnessing the magic of the titan around her.

My favorite thing about the Owl House is that the episodes almost always end on a somewhat good note (not agony of a witch that shit fucked me up). Every show always ends with me in tears and traumatized, but this show is a good change of pace and all the characters are just so amazing and I love the owl house soooo much and I also love your reactions!

I'm glad ya uncancelled Lilith fangirl. Had a feeling ya would after how the finale ended. Belos and the day of unity relating to what he's planning with the portal is gonna be quite interesting to say the least and honestly season two can't come soon enough. I wonder if Lilith will end up living the owl house since she lost her magic given she now shares Eda's curse? I'd think so but we shall see. If she isn't she's still gonna be around much more often given Luz is gonna need to teach both how to do glyph magic. The minor thing for season two is gonna be the possible relationship between Luz and Amity. It's gonna be interesting to see how Amity reacts to what her former mentor did to her crush but then to find out what she ended up doing to her sister to partially redeem herself. We shall see if Amity sees it that way when she's told though.

The intro said it all for a lot of us, but why, this show really did a madness and I loved it. Great reaction, excellent episode today, despite the copyright stuff from earlier. The emperor’s plan? I think he’s actually human because he needs palisman eyedrops and didn’t follow Luz right after she blew up the door because he was too weak after being poked in the eye and becoming Sans from Undertale, I think he’s trying either to get back to the human realm or capture a witch that escaped there.

Lilith also picked up some gray hair too. I have to wonder how much - if anything - Lilith knows about "The Day of Unity." I think Luz is just recording messages for her Mom, WiFi almost definitely went with the portal. Of course, I don't know how long she can do that because it looked like she was charging the phone with a USB cable coming through the portal too. I note that Willow's had an arc this season as big - if not as romantic - as Amity. She's gone from a shy, unsure, almost friendless poor student at Hexide, to having friends, to being popular and good in school to - as of this episode - looking like she's on track to becoming a leader in the community. Again, what does her Oracle track fanboy know that we don't? And I'm predicting Luz's mom will end up being "Good Witch Azura." There's a theme here of the younger generation mirroring the older, which would work with this and, well, "Azura" means sky blue, and every time we've seen her Mom save one she's been in light blue scrubs...and that "one" was in bed, under a blue blanket, resting her head on blue pillows... Coincidence? Maybe...but on this show? And may I suggest "Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts?" Half Wizard of Oz, half Mad Max. If you have Prime, "Lost in Oz" is good too.

In defencce of Lilith. It's easy to see Bellows intentions as outsiders, but to Lilith he was her hero. And this quote summs it up rather well imo "When people want to belive in something. They usually do" So to Lilith it never even occured to her Bellows might lie to her. Partially from her live long admiration of him. And in part from her guilt not allowing her to think like that. She did also set herself on this mission as a kid. Right as Eda ran away and the emperors guard held her arm up. So some sunk cost played a part too I think

Here’s my thought about the portal, Luz may have destroyed the door, but she didn’t destroy the eye. I think Belos was building his own portal in secret but didn’t have the missing key...THE EYE!! Also 2 small goofs, Eda’s right eye was normal in the throne room for a second, and the glyph Luz throws at the petrification machine was the Light Spell, and yet vines come up.

My theory is that Creepy Luz is just a witch that escaped Boiling Isles, and maybe it's now living as Luz to not getting captured by the Emperor, who's trying to find her by going through the portal? I don't have evidence for that, but the letters still are a big mystery that I'm interested to solve.
