The dance was so amazing animated and it had that “disney magic” look to it. I never thought i’d see a sapphic couple on screen with a big animation budget but here we are! it’s just so meaningful to have scenes like that. Im sure it will be remembered as an iconic scene in animation.

Also one thing to notice is when luz says that's what friends do her voice wavers and her eye kind of strains. It's kind of obvious that luz also does have a slight crush on Amity as well but it's probably distracted by everything and doesn't go on to full gay panic but since she thought Amity wanted to take someone else out she was a little sad but was still willing to be there for her

There's actually two gay background couples I didn't notice the second one until might like fourth time we watching the episode but besides the couple dancing when a Madea Goes to talk to lose are you can see one of the girls on The Grudge B-Team the one with green hair in a tux talking to the girl in The Illusion track that has a tongue for hair and tongue hair girl is blushing

In Luz's defense she doesn't know the proposal was for her so she thinks Amity has a crush or is interested in someone else. Plus, Luz probably doesn't know Amity is attracted to girls.

Luz does know Amity did a fanart of herself with a character from the Azura books. It wasn't obvious that it was a female character to the viewer at the time, but Luz would definitely know.

@@Phoboskomboa actually, I dont think the books reveal the gender of the character Amity was crushing on. The drawing, the name, and even the profession leaves an air of mystery around them. The drawing doesn't have any of the normal fantasy features for male or female, the name is more gender ambiguous then most, and the profession is literally have mysterious in the name. Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if we ever see a book 6 of the series that they are nonbinary.

@@darmorel549 right. My point was that the gender wasn't clear to the viewer, but Luz would know exactly as much as Amity, since they'd both read the books up to that point. So from that, Luz would know Amitiy's preferences.

You know, now that it was confirmed that Luz is indeed Bisexual, I can't help but finally notice her outfit, A suit and a skirt! I hate societal norms for gender but typically a suit is for men and a skirt is for women, could the fact that she's wearing both hint to her liking both genders?
