What I like as a hidden detail, is that when Belos turn into a fungus, which might be a reference to the Salem witch trials where historians theorized that fungi in bread it’s what caused the paranoia spreading the town. Belos being killed is symbolic that it was never witches that caused problems but people and fungi.

Ideas for Characters and their problems! Luz: Trauma from everything that has happened. She is afraid that everything and everyone she loves can be taken away. She also fears death because she has and hasn't dies before. She was in-between and almost fell through until the King's dad saved her. She has no Idea what will happen and so she springs off at any slight sign of danger. (SUF flashbacks) Amity: She is worried that she is not enough in the eyes of her elders. She is constantly overworking herself and being the perfect little understudy for Lilith, Eda, and her dad. She wants to become more like them but is afraid she will turn into her mom. Hunter: He is always worrying about if he is doing his job right. He wonders what his purpose is without work and what he is to do with his life. He has flashbacks to his Golden Guard days and flashes of memories From Caleb's life. He wonders if he could just be recreated and replaced and what his predecessors were like. Willow: She is constantly worrying about others and will actively give herself other people's problems instead of facing her own. She is so worried about being everyone's rock that she forgets to take time to her own mental and physical health. And just like a rock she erodes. Gus: He is afraid that he will not find his place in the world. Sure he has the school, but he wants to make something all his own, to stop following everyone's lead and take charge of his life. Eda: She is afraid of her old age. She pretends to just be looking out for others, but really she just doesn't want to be alone. Add the phantom pains and flashbacks and you have one mentally unstable Eda. ( Plus worrying about the kids even though they are adults now.) Vee: She is struggling to find her home. She loved the Boiling Isles and the Human Realm, but she does not know where she fits in to either. King: He worries about his origins. He wants to know more about himself and if there are any others like him. He knows deep down that the answer is probably no, but he wants to believe. He wonders if he'll be anything like his father and if he will outlive everyone he loves. He doesn't want to end up like his dad, sitting idly by, a spectator to life and it's wonders. He doesn't want to watch his body decay, he just wants everything to stand still for a little. Camila: She worries about all of her children, but especially Luz. The others have magic and can fend for themselves just fine, but Luz is essentially back to square one. Camila knows this and just doesn't want to loose the last bit of Manny she has left. She knows it is selfish, but she can't help it, that's her daughter. Collector: He worries about hurting others. He knows right and wrong and what death does to a mf, and he doesn't like it. He isolated himself even though he knows being alone will make it worse. He is afraid of his siblings coming back and killing everyone, and his lack of an outlet for how he feels mixed with impending doom is really weighing on him. Darius: He worries about being the right male figure for Hunter to lean on. He doesn't want to see him relapse into his old habits. Adalor: He wants to make up for the lost time with his kids and be a good dad, but he has no idea how to. Phillip: dead. Caleb; dead King's dad: dead The whole character cast on the inside: dead Lmk if you guys want to see more!

I really wish vee would have gotten more screen time. Her developing her own identity and integration into the Noceda family would be cool to watch, alongside Camilla constantly mixing up memories of Luz when vee stole her identity

As a CSA/grooming survivor, I really feel like a lot about the golden guard/grimwalker metaphor is coded to be a metaphor for that (especially involving possession, an incredibly traumatic form of body invasion that happens before Hunter's (murder-)suicide attempt and that's symbolizes by scars and tears). If they get another season, I hope they can lean further in on the metaphor, since it's a lot more common than people realize and survivors get really fucked up trying to navigate the world understanding what happened to them still as children, and need people to be realistic and address them in a way they can understand

However, I feel like the show is as sanitized and pampered down as it is because the only network that would even give us a good version of this IP still did a lot of censorship and didn't let Dana fully express her storytelling. Now that you describe Hunter's situation as dangerous as this, it all makes sense to me now. He was literally born into a life that wasn't his. Emperor Belos is a fucking menace, but even I think there was something that turned Belos into the way he was... Maybe he had parents that gave him too MUCH positive reinforcement to the point to where his entire foundation was built off of bigotry and saving his people while doing inhumane actions and abuse to a person HE MADE TO BE THE BROTHER HE MURDERED.

I think it would also be cool to see Hunter’s character arc exploring some of his past actions while he was still the Golden Guard (taking palismen to Belos to be huffed, Basilisk containment, etc.)

Hunter was also a child soldier and very well known on the Isles due to his position as the Golden Guard and head of the EC after Lilith. I imagine in between his role helping Belos and his part in saving the BI, he’s a quite well known public figure and I’m sure a lot of people may have negative associations with him due to his actions as the Golden Guard. I could also see an arc with him about aquatinting himself to a normal life after spending years being manipulated into doing someone else’s bidding. Especially when there are people who may have fair reason to dislike him. Which is also difficult since he has people he cares about and who may not know the extent of the kinds of things he did in the coven. Not to even mention he’s part of an extinct species that seems to be very stigmatized and he lacks the same magic others have which I perceive as allegory for disability. I just think there’s a lot more to explore than just an identity crisis. He’s such an interesting character and there could honestly probably be an entire series about just him alone due to just how much there is to explore.

honestly if TOH does get a spinoff similar to this- it'd be really amazing. I'd already "grown up" with this first bit of the Owl House, younger me learning things they never would've otherwise, exploring things they would've been too scared to touch until they realized it would be okay to explore, Owl House pushing that curiosity just enough to help me to mature into who I am today. To have another series to kind of push me, maybe not in the same way the Owl House did, but in other ways? That'd be really cool.

I feel like a sequel would be something like "The Owl Tree" or "The Boiling Isles", Tree being a reference to Eda's scholarly position and Boruto shifting a bit from Naruto. Isles would widen things from Luz centric to Isles centric, exploring people we may not otherwise see.

Going with what you said about Jacob wanting to ban witches from the human realm, it would also be good to see some human opposition (besides Luz & Camila) to him possibly being led by Masha & her friends, because they also seemed likely to be cool with the idea of witches & demons.

I think that for one episode, the sequel series could also include the Caleb/Phillip/Witch-theorized-to-be-a-Clawthorne-ancestor backstory, using the same method as "Elsewhere and Elsewhen" when there is time travel, and like E&E, it would only fill out those missing gaps. Maybe no Clawthorne knows about their ancestors so they find out. This could also give the origins of the portal door and stuff. A hooty backstory might also be good as a separate episode and presented like how "Them's The Breaks Kid" was.

Honestly, hearing everything that was said in this video about a potential sequel show and all the ideas/characters/plot lines it could entail it all sounds very interesting! If it ever comes back, it would be a dream come true. However considering everything that's happening within the entertainment industry and the world as a whole constantly being on fire (both literally and figuratively) the chance probably isn't high at the moment, but it never hurts to at least have hope. Out of all the ideas explored here, the one I'd be most interested in is finding out more about the Archivists in general and what history is or was beyond the Demon and Human Realms. All the other ideas would be interesting to see the show we love to try and tackle for sure, but there's just something so mysterious and alluring to me personally about the Collectors family and how they would maybe tie into previous plot points within the original story itself and expand upon certain stories and overall lore.

I seriously just want more Collector and The Archivst lore- Like cosmic entities that have powers against comprehension? Sign me up, dude. (rant under) Plus, we never got to see more of the Titans. I would have killed for some sort of vision/flashback about the Titan's and the Archivst's "relationship" of sorts- Did they start out as enemies and just sign a truce with eachother? Like, the Titans must have been suspicous at first with the Archivsts just showing up, and eventually just were like "Alright, lets just be on common ground" or something. Are there any other Titans that used to be important to the story (Other then King and his dad) before being Archived? (Or killed- We still don't have concrete info of what really happened to them....we just know they dissapeared/ "went extinct") To add to that, The Collector must have grown, at least mentally/matured, like a teen of sorts, so what now? Does he have a bad rep now, considering what he did? (Accidently...sorta) Will we ever see The Archivsts, or at least, more info about them? (I mean...i dont think they are dead, since they can live for so long.) We know the Archvists are older siblings to the Collector, did they have at least *some* positive relationship with The Collector? Mabye one of the Archvist's were kinda iffy with what the rest of them were doing, but didn't voice their opinion? But I think you get the idea. There is so much story/lore for them, yet they never got the chance. Welp, time to indulge in headcanons.....Hopefully, one day, they bring TOH back.

If it is confirmed that Caleb is the ancestor of the Clawtorn, imagine that it is revealed that each grimwalker was incomplete (Caleb's DNA was not enough) and Belos had to use the DNA of a witch to complete it and for the current Hunter Belos used the DNA of Eda or Lily making Hunter part of the Clawtorn family directly? (and that's why Belos told Hunter that he was the clone that most resembled his brother because he unknowingly used DNA from a descendant of Caleb) Where would he have gotten DNA from? of her hair? or perhaps from her blood or other fluid from her?

While I would love an Owl House Future, I personally think I'd be more interested in one that explores the past, mostly Eda, Lilith, Rain, Alador, Darius and some of the other adult characters in the show. There has already been hints some hints at one fallowing Eda's and the other time at Hexside. But I'd be interesting to have one that showed that and also different points in their lives before the main series. Like the time right after Eda got cursed and Lilith joined the emperor's coven, or a few years after with Eda's life exploring earth and living on the run, Lilith, Raine and Darius, each exploring their role in the Coven system, and Alador chose to marry Odalia and join Blight Enteprises. This could help with wide audience appeal because you would still have the school story lines for hunger audiences, but also the experiences of a young adults and adults who are still navigating life. The reason I'm interested in this is because I feel like there are all these stories that are hinted at but not told, like how did Darius's relationship with Alador sour, and what led Alador choosing to not only marry Odalia but work for her, what led to Hunter's predecessor getting killed, how did Eda end up so ostracized that she was basically living as a Hermit, and Lilith to dye her hair and adopt that imperious persona she had in the first season instead of being her naturally dorky self. The two main challenges I can see with this is one including all these timelines in one series. Either you can you Time Skips like Young Justice (but better) or jump around multiple timelines in the same episode, though this might make it harder to give each story the time it needs. Second is the fact that, with a few acceptations, no one was in a good place before the events of the main series so it might kind of be like watching a bunch of tragedies. Though not complete, you can still have good events like Eda enjoying exploring earth (including going to the movies and seeing that Dragon Ball Z parody she had the VHS for) or Darius while still hurt about the changes in his relationship will Alador, becoming the hero we know he will be. So it might at least be emphasizing the light at the end of the tunnel, meaning even if things are not good now you can see how they will get better.

I think, there is stuff for 10 + episodes in this series. Youst to mention a thing, as you saw the titan corrupted with belos movig up, you could recognise a few landmasses in the sea. And there could be series focusing on magic in the real world, like the philosophers stone. And yes, I think Belos should survive, yust to get killed again..

While I know that a lot of people would like an animated spinoff, I think that a graphic novel series would be a good choice too, look at the follow-up Gravity Falls book that had Dipper and Mabel's final week before leaving. An Owl House graphic novel could help fill in gaps in the story, both pre and post season 3, or even more so add flashbacks to answer questions from before Luz met Eda.

Honestly, a The Owl House: Future series would work really well, it's actually one of the first thoughts I had after watching the finale. The epilogue, whether intentionally or not, is a perfect setup for a sequel series exploring the characters' new lives post-Belos, and with the archivists still out there, it would be easy to make that the overarching plot. They could easily strike a balance between everyday slice-of-life episodes and intriguing plot-heavy episodes. There's just so much potential, and I wish they capitalized on it. EDIT: Also, there are _so_ many character dynamics that we didn't get much of (if at all) in the show that could be explored.

That and while I do respect the Roundtable's opinion on Luz still having trauma over the events of the OG series. I think that is less likely because if we would get a future series, I don't Luz's arc to be the exact same as Steven's. Besides, Luz most likely have been seeing a therapist and she is doing so much better as shown in the epilogue. So, in my opinion, Luz will be doing very well. Heck, I would even say better than she ever was because she is surrounded by people she loves. Plus, also her therapist, at least if it happens, should be Steve because he can give good advice to help people. However, that doesn't mean there won't be other characters who are dealing with trauma and guilt. More specifically, Hunter and Amity. Where Hunter is still trying to make peace with himself and Amity is dealing with a huge tidal wave of guilt of failing to save Luz after they got separated. I think that would make things more interesting and would give Amity an emotional arc that would take up a lot of episodes.

One group I'd like to see for another Earth arc would be the FBI, both Gravity Falls and Amphibia characters had run ins with the FBI and since OWL House's third season was cut short we didn't get a chance to see them appear. As allies or antagonists they raised the stakes whenever they got involved.

I love your concert for an Owl House spinoff series. Hopefully in the near future we can get some type of spinoff and seeing where these characters are at, in terms of both mental and emotional state, as they are rebuilding their world that was once corrupted by a leader who just wanted to wipe out all whiches. Also getting to learn more about the Boiling Isles, Titans history, and the Archivist could expand more on the Worldbuilding side of this series. P.S The Owl House, as well as other TV show and movies that are old and new, I've been using as inspiration for my own story. I'm thinking of a Sci-fi series that is more Science based with some fantasy in the mix. Also I need to read the books Fahrenheit 451 and 1984 but I've definitely wanted to write a series that uses the idea of a corrupt political system. Basically using history for that part and show the sorta "why politics can seem corrupt" if you get what I'm trying to say. Anywho hopefully you all have a wonderful day.

This video was so hecking awesome! I really hope we get a spin off series, and all of your ideas sound so intriguing! It is really unfortunate that animation is looked at as kids content, there is so many amazing shows; with it aimed towards kids, young adults or both! The same thing also unfortunately happens with Lego. It breaks my heart when I hear people say animation or Lego is for kids and tell us to grow up. Hopefully soon in the future people can just enjoy their interests without being hated for it.

Personally, I think that Dana not being bogged down by Disney for their age demographic would allow for a much better Owl House. We've seen the pilot, which was a bit of a neat little taste of what Dana envisioned. Plus, some of the current Disney shows are talking about some more mature topics, like identity and culture. Hell, I've even heard that the Ghost and Molly Mcgee did an episode that briefly touched on periods. (correct me if I'm wrong, that's just what I heard)

Molly McGee also did an episode on Hanukkah, how it's celebrated, what it means, and it even showed a brief flash back to *Kristallnacht* , and how it shaped the future of one characters family back then, how they had to flee Germany and leave everything behind and start anew. It's a very touching and real moment in the show. It's almost amazeing how Disney takes so many steps forward like this, and then backwards they go when it comes to Owl House.

no no but wouldn't it be cool to have a flashback episode? like, out of nowhere it starts and there's caleb and everyone is like: wait what? like, the episode is focused on caleb's point of view, and it also shows his romance with evelyn and lot of philip's story, bringind in some new stuff the fandom doesn't know about yet. and in the end, hunter wakes up and we realise it was all a dream, like a memory caleb passed to him through their connection. how awesome would that be?? the episode could also have a really cool boiling isled deadwardian era ambiantation and show a lot of how the isled were before belos banned wild magic. i need this episode omg

I think that the archivist/titan conflict is the most in need of exploration. There are just so many things that almost feel like borderline plot holes. The titans had a way of hiding things from the collectors, which was used to successfully protect King, yet there weren't other titans who did the same with their eggs. The collector straight up states that fully grown titans are "stronger than anybody", but clearly they lost the war. While the young titans would have been vulnerable, and while there was a lot of deception going on, I just have a hard time picturing that a fully grown titan would be unable to do anything while their species is massacred. The collector said that the titans were killed "one by one", so this wasn't a surprise sweep like the day of unity. Dana Terrace is a good writer, so I am sure that there is a reasonable explanation for all of this, but its a shame that we never learn much about it.

I think it would be interesting if Odalia came back remarried to another wealthy man and has a 14 year old stepdaughter who is a magical prodigy. Odalia pretends to care for and love the kid like her own but she’s actually just using her for bragging rights and, like her own children, doesn’t care about their well-being and safety, just their status (maybe she’s even trying to use her stepdaughter to take over the boiling isles) Amity, Ed and Em at first don’t care about Odalia’s new life but slowly become a little jealous because they believe Odalia actually cares for her and changed for her…only for Amity to discover Odalia’s true intention and bond with her step sister over the one magic Odalia banned the girl from practicing…Abomination magic

The way the Owl House ended absolutely left the door open for future content. I've seen it being like a graphic novel, possibly series of novels, as opposed to an animated series, but there's potential for pretty much anything to continue the story, or dive deeper into character backstories and prequels for certain characters.

If you're looking to give your group of Earth villains/bigoted assholes an actual name, then I've got a suggestion. The Sacred Apostles of Light and Eradicators of Magic, or "S.A.L.E.M." for short. Seeing as Salem, Massachusetts is synonymous with its history of witch hunts and witch trials, I think it would work well as the name of an anti-witch and magic organization. I'm something of an aspiring writer who hasn't put any of his work out for the world to see, and I did have this idea a while back to make up a group of witch hunters that called themselves the Salem. I fell out of love with the story and made some changes to it by actually drawing on inspiration from The Owl House and Soul Eater, but I still think a witch hunting organization naming itself after Salem is a solid idea. And if that doesn't fly, seeing as the main setting on Earth for The Owl House is Gravesfield, these villains could call themselves the "Peacekeepers of Gravesfield," or "Gravekeepers" for short. EDIT: I think a great title for a sequel show would be "The Owl House: Next Flight."

the thing that gets me so confused that for Disney Owl House is a GOLDMINE for them yet they wont touch it and keep attacking it i can see so much merch ideas that would of gone insanely well like: (I am trying to do the Disney inner Mr Krabs) king plushies palasman plushies toy staffs owl house outfits/costumes toy action figures and or dolls maybe with a OWL HOUSE playset Lego Owl House (lego Eda is eternal) in owl house world Books (Otabin book kinda slaps not going to lie) you can slap the logo on bags, blankets, lunch boxes, flasks, stationary equipment, pillows, bedding, do i need to go on? not have to be owl house could have some Azura/Cosmic Frontier merch too as i said before the show is a literal GOLDMINE for Disney yet they shot themselves in the foot and made many lose out on what could of been the best TV animated show the thing that always gets me is how much better owl house would of been if Disney let it thrive and not kill it before it started... but the thing that makes me happy even with the time they had they still found a way to blow our minds and bring an amazing show a show so good it could stand side by side with a giant titan of a show Gravity Falls and even make people debate and talk such fondness i love the way owl house did it's ending as it never really did give a proper ending... it gives the fans hope... it ended in a way that the door is still open the way the writers wrote building blocks that there are still questions out there if Disney ever do a season 4 or spin offs (doubt it they hate creativity and good shows) it could maybe happen? small ideas could be of another season adventure of collage Luz we could have the missing episodes in season 3 when they was in the human world by looking into willows scrapbook as they reminisce the lore of the Witterbane brothers by a diary left behind by Evelyn or even Caleb maybe found in or near the Clawthorn home the new way of boiling isles some not liking it, there will always be some people that will still stick to tradition even if it hinders themselves growth of the palisman forest that could cause some odd outbursts that other wildlife get moved around not use to the change this is only the few that popped in my head there is many more i do hope Disney do pickup the Owl House again even if it just small things (that's my rant if you made down here what do you guys think any ideas you guys got also Hello there)
