If/when you start getting the Dad bod, you will appreciate the smaller pistols staying smaller. The whole idea of the P365 was to be a micro 9mm for concealed carry. Once the marketing people realized that consumers would buy anything with the P365 name to go along with it, they just started printing money. Well, good for them, and bad for Dad bods everywhere. Just sayin.....

I have a Wilson Combat XL grip module with the tungsten S/S weights in it. I use a 17-round macro magazine with the XL fitment sleeve base plate as a back-up magazine.

I also highly recommend the Wilson Combat XL grip module. They have sales on their website from time to time. The grip is just slightly wider to fill the palm and the front/back strap texture is great, can’t go wrong IMO.

I have the Macro and rock the stock grip in the winter and XL grip in the summer. I like the stock grip modules, but Wilson Combat makes a nice grip too.

The sweet spot is the P365x same barrel/slide length as original but holds the 12 round mags vs original 10. Gives a just enough full grip and super slim w/o a light or dot. I can actually pocket carry it in a jacket and have my p320 or g19 on my hip.

The macro is kinda in a size class of its own whole not being as small as a micro compact but smaller then a compact while having similar capacity. It’s really meant for people whose hands are too big for an XL but don’t want to carry a compact or full size gun.

I carry the P365 XL with the Mischief Machine metal grip module every day. I love it. I have the Alpha XXL. The Alpha and Omega versions are the ones that are the same dimensions as the original XL grip. I would think you would prefer the Omega as it has a wider grip with the option of selecting from a variety of available grip panels, like a 1911.

Actually, the new Commander series also comes in the standard XL grip with the grip panels.

That's one thing about our hobby/passion; there are soooo many options, but you often have to pay to play and that can get expensive. After handling a Macro, all those other large capacity pistols just seem too large. My P320 feels like a 2x4 compared to the P365. Another option is the original tiny pistol with 12 or 15rd mags, with a 17 for your reload.

You want a short grip try out a S&W shield. Conceals like a hellcat but isn’t a skinny piece. The shadow systems cr920 has a nice short grip too. I don’t dig the slim pieces as much so I only kept one which is the 43x because it’s has it’s purpose with certain clothing. I live in a goofy state so not printing is kinda important to me.

Before giving up on the Macro, I suggest you invest in a quality holster. It will perfectly conceal the grip handle.

Opinions vary of course, but my opinion is they suck.😂🤷‍♂️ the Smith & Wesson shield or even the M&P 2.0 with the 3.5 barrel are far superior pistols in every way. And if I need a skinny pistol I carry the 43x. Winter time carry I choose the FN 509m. But like I said we’re all different so our choices obviously will be too.

I won’t carry anything smaller than G19 size. I hate it when my pinky hangs off the grip. Instead of using extended mags, or a Macro, I’ll just carry a compact size or full size gun with the longer sight radius

I look at the Macro as a gun I would not carry daily. I do carry it often but it’s limited to the colder months. In warmer months I’ll switch out grip modules to the standard and the XL.

I am able to conceal the 365 Macro Tacops with no problem. I would never carry a gun with a manual safety. I have xl hands, like the bigger grip

It wouldn't be my choice for a CCW, but that's so subjective. I've talked to people who carry a P226, a G34 (why???), etc etc etc. The P365 has some advantage in that the FCU can be transferred between grip modules, so you can start with the smol boi and then size up to something just a hair smaller than the P320 M18.

The base 365 with the pinky extension mag baseplate is perfect for me, for instance, but I've handed that same gun to many people who say "nah too small for me." 🤷‍♂

Got rid of mine for the same reason. I went thru the xl to Macro. Got the light and holosun when those were hard to find. Picked up a pricy holster and pricy magazines. I'm a bigger 6'4 dude so these small guns carry the same as a full size to me. And the small grips don't fit my bearpaws too well either. Sold the macro and bought a g17 gen 5 for a lighter weight carry gun. Still end up carrying my MK25 90 percent of the time.

I bought the Tacops with the belief that I was going to carry it the same way I carry my standard 365. It’s just not happening for me! And the guys on KZbin make it look so easy! Plus they’re slim as hell! I’m like, “What the hell are y’all eating everyday? What do y’all get your clothes from?” I’m not obese. But the dad bod has shown up at age 53. Now my Tacops is on the night stand. And I’m contemplating selling it, because I’ve gotten my hands on P365 XL Spectre Comp. Decisions, decisions!
