I'm from West Virginia and in 1971 Pan Am hauled me from Viet Nam to home for leave and safely returned me to Viet Nam. Round trip ticket cost $309. In 1985 I worked security at Pan Am in Miami until they closed up. Thanks Pan Am for all you have done for me.

My mother was a Pan Am stewardess based out of NY in 1962 & 1963. She still talks about her wonderful experiences. 85 years young!

Hi Julia, I'm a 68 year old fan of airlines and aviation. I grew up near JFK in New York and my first flight was on Pan AM to Rome in 1971. It was a great experience. Today the glamour is gone, I prefer the good old days of beautiful stewardesses. You did a fantastic job.

Flew Pan Am and TWA in the 70s when my father was stationed in the military in Germany. It was so elegant and special. We all got new outfits for the flights. I feel so fortunate to have experienced flying with these iconic American corporations. Ms. Cooke’s book is utterly fascinating. Thank you so much for hosting this program.

Hi I worked for Pan Am in 1986 until they closed down in December 4 1991 then I went to work for American Airlines it was a great career especially working for pan am

Thank you for your recognition of our work as Stewardesses with Pan American World Airways. I was a Stewardess with PAA from February 1969 through August 1976 based in JFK. I truly enjoyed my job even with all the problems with terrorists. I will say you did a great job. Olgalís Chacón
