There are lots of things that can make the difference in the climb to the SC. Did you ever consider that the teams in the Western Conference might just be better overall than the Eastern Conference teams. I have seen this lots of times in the past, when the team that lost in the SC finals, didn't even seem as good as some of the other Conference teams that lost in an earlier round. Like when the SC winners knocked them out in 4 or 5 games, and some earlier round team took the SC winners to 7. Because of the Conference team matching, the two best teams don't end up playing in the finals???

Let's put it this way They had 10 days rest vs Vegas which had to battle a game 6 which makes them more prime rn with that edge being still ready to play vs the rust of not having a game to test you and keep your momentum going. Come on, it was a super hot Bob that brought them there. It was not that vs. Boston and Canes the Cats have been the better team. They were more gritty, had some puck luck and made it really difficult to play against them. They have been a pest. But this time the refs have an eye on that, Bob doesn`t stop nearly as well as the last 3 rounds, and it`s Vegas baby. That`s a loaded team, really good on both ends, and they found Hill who has been super hot since the Oilers series. Let`s see what happens when the series arrives in Florida.
