The mother bird is afraid of that cuckoo. He keeps trying to bite her and does and she jumps back or stands far away on the rock. She isn’t fooled though bc she knows he’s an invader and both parents feed their chicks first and give him enough to barely survive but he continues to yell and abuse. He even yells with food in his mouth and they take it away or he drops it. This bird is stupid.

In most case, birds can recognize parasite cuckoo only during egg phase, not when its born. If they did not recognize before born, then they think they have very hungry chicken, nothing more.

What's also nuts is cuckoo chicks will also not let the mother brood the nest until it's full or the sun goes down, especially if it's got nest mates to compete for. It's never enough, just peck, shove an hit its mother with its wings, everything to get exstra foods. They are persistent little buggas that's for sure.

Si en esta ocasión se le llegó la tarde para mamá cuca de ppner el huevo en nido ajeno. Ahora el plan de cokito para expulsar a sus nuevos hermanos quedo en el olvido porque la diferencia de tamaño es demasiado para superar. No, cuckoo mothers don't take care of their babies, also cuckoos are bigger. The mother here is a thrush, should be a blue rock thrush by the father's look.
