Even at almost 63 years old I hear him, these songs and my mind is 12 again,, I feel my inner child dancing and singing and pretending I'm Laurie playing the piano ,,we had so much happiness back then but on Friday nights my world could fall apart around me,, as long as I was watching The Partridge family and David Cassidy I wouldn't have noticed,,❤

I don't why I even start checking out Partridge Family songs, I grew up watching them when I was just a child. Something just clicked and I have been through the catalog of songs for the last hour. When I start listening to this song I recalled memories I haven't thought about in decades. I know living in this world for 57 years isn't really long but thinking about those memories seems like a thousand years ago.

Man-they did have some great songs! R.I.P., David Cassidy. Oh-and, one thing, more. I can remember lead-ins, to some faves. F'rinstance, in the garage, Danny tells Keith, "...and, besides, it was, all, Laurie's idea!" Keith yanks down the zipper, of the front of Danny's shirt, which times, perfectly, with the piano decrescendo that begins "Summer Days." Liked, also, "Point Me, In The Direction Of Albuquerque" & "It's One Of Those Nights(Yes, Love.)

Jefgg, little known fact: By the second season of the series, Bonaduce was already three inches taller than Cassidy and it was only camera tricks like the oversized bass (eight feet long!) and forced perspective (he's actually twenty feet behind Susan Dey at 1:47) that concealed the fact that Danny was virtually a titan.
